MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL
MARCH 1, 1946
A special meeting of Miami Shores Village Council
was held on March 1, 1946, at 7 :30 p.m. All members of the
Council were present.
Mr. Noel appeared before the Council concerning
his request for a permit to erect an office building on N. E.
Sixth Avenue between 91st and 92nd Streets, and after some
discussion concerning the size of the building and future
additions, Mr. Reynolds moved that the matter be returned
to the Planning Board with instructions to issue the necessary
permit for the erection of said building. Motion was seconded
by Mr. Parish and was carried by 4/5 vote, Mr. McKee dissent-
ing.
Upon motion made by Mr. Kilburn, seconded by Mr .
Parish, Council approved the issuance of a license to the Red
Adams Bus Line, to operate a bus route to Biscayne Kennel
Club, entering the Village limits at N. W. 115th St. from
N. W. 7th Avenue, and that the license fee during the dog
racing season be $125.00.
Upon motion of Mr. Kilburn, seconded by Mr. McKee,
Council adopted Ordinance No. 151, by 4/5 vote, with Mr.
Reynolds dissenting, said ordinance being known as the Miami
Shores Village Traffic Ordinance.

Upon motion of Mr. Parish, seconded by Mr. Kilburn,
Council adopted Ordinance No. 152, said ordinance being an
ordinance regulating taxis within the limits of Miami Shores
Village.
Upon motion of Mr. Parish, seconded by Mr. Kilburn,
Council adopted Ordinance No. 153, said ordinance being an
ordinance designating all misdemeanors of the State of Florida
as misdemeanors against Miami Shores Village.
The meeting was then adjourned.
