07-19-1943 Public HearingMINUTES OF PUBLIC MEETING JULYI9, 1943. The Miami Shores Village Council held a public meeting on July 19th, 1943, for the purpose of discussing the tentative budget for the year August 1, 1943- July 319 1944. There were 19 Village residents present, and the Mayor discussed each item of the budget and, answered questions concerning same. A majority► of those present voted to approve some increase in taxes for the purpose of helping to create a reserve fund for post-war repairs and improvements. After which the meeting was adjourned.
