MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL
MAY 31, 1940
A special meeting of the Miami Shores Village Council
was held on May 31, 1940.
Present were Mr. Lindsey, Mr. Milledge, Mr. Stockdell,
the Village Attorney and Village Clerk.
The Council discussed the application of Dunning Properties,
Inc. for a permit to construct a gasolene filling station on the S. W.
corner of N. E. 2nd Avenue and 98th Street, the plans and specifications
having been approved by the Village Planning Board and the application
having been signed for approval by three members of the Council. Mr.
Lindsey acted as chairman and upon motion made by Mr. Stockdell
approval of this construction was confirmed. Mr. Lindsey did not vote,
and explained that he was not voting because of lack of information.
The Council approved the bills in the amount of $2,715.83
incurred by the Village during the month of April, after which the
meeting was adjourned.
