I:IAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL
August 25, 1939
The Miami Shores Village Council held a special meeting on Friday,
August 25, 1939) at 7: 30 P. I.I.
Present were Mayor F. Scott Kitson, Councilmen . Frank 0. Pruitt,
John J. Lindsey, W. Meade Stockdell, Stanley Milledge and the Village
Clerk.

The Council discussed with Mr. Roy H. Hawkins and Mr. John M. Carlisle
' the proposed second mortgage to be placed on the Miami Shores Village
Golf Course. Mr. Milledge read some of the requirements as prepared by
Mr. Robert H. Anderson, Attorney for Bessemer Properties. Mr. t-iilledge
and Pair. Lindsey volunteered to negotiate further with the Bessemer Propertie':
attorney and to report their findings at a special meeting set for the
following Tuesday, August 29th. Upon motion made by 11r. Lindsey and
seconded by Mr. Pruitt, the action of the Council in repudiating the Golf
Course bills at the last Council Meeting was rescinded and ordered stricken 0Q
from the records . upon unanimous Vote, after which the meeting was adjourned.
