12-14-1937 Regular Meeting MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL. December 14th, 1937 The regular meeting of the Miami Shores -Village Councul was held Tuesday, December 14th, 1937 at 7:30 P. M. , at the Village office. Mr. Pruitt, Mr. Lindsey, Mr. Carlisle and Mr. Goll were present as was the Village -Attorney and Village Clerk. The minutes of the Council meetings since September 9th, were approved. Mrs. Stellrecht, owner of Lot 231, Block 32, Miami Shores Section 1, requested a permit to build a residence on this 50- foot lot. After due discussion and on motion of Mr. Carlisle, seconded by Mr. Pruitt, Mrs. Stellrecht's request was denied. 40 Mr. Thos. Anderson, representing Mr. Bulman, owner of a 50 foot lot located in that section of E1 Portal recently included in the corporate limits of Miami Shores Village requested the Council to relax the restrictions of the Zoning Ordinance therby allowing the owners of property in El Portal to build on a 50 foot lot. Upon motion of Mr. Lindsey, seconded by Mr. Pruitt, and duly passed by the Council the request as submitted was denied. Mr. Harvell, representing the owner of Lot 17 Block 39, a 50 foot lot requested a permit to erect a residence on this 50 foot lot. Upon motion of Mr. Pruitt, seconded by Mr. Lindsey, and duly passed by the Council the request as submitted was denied. Mr. Holt presented Ordinance #68 being an Ordinance re ardifi g Golf Course expenditures entitled: "AN ORCINANCE RELATING FURTHER TO DEPOSIT AND DISBURSEMENT OF GOLF COURSE FUNDS: AND TO THE MORTGAGE ACCOUNT. d Upon motion of Mr. Lindsey, seconded by Mr. Pruitt, Ordinance i I't i #68 was duly passed and adopted. The Village Manager was instructed to get up a detail report on Golf Course expenditures. 'I � Mr. J. 0. Phillips asked for suggestions on the zoning of Golf View Estates and the Council referred him to the Miami Shores Village Planning Board. Mr. Lindsey made the motion that the part of E1 Portal facing on 1 N. E. 90th Street, as petitioned by the delegation that appeared before the Council on September 14th, 1937s be included in the incorporate i, limits of Miami Shores Village. The motion was seconded.by Mr. Carlisle, and the voting was as follows: Mr. Lindsey - yes, Mr. Pruitt - No, Mr. Goll - no, Mr. Carlisle - no. ! 3. .. The Village Manager was instructed to adjust the taxes on Lot 6 Block 73, and Lot 13, Block 24, and cancel the Tax Sale CertificdEtes I � E; issued on same.
