MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL
June 30# 1936
The Miami Shores Village Council held a special meeting
dune. 30th, 1936 at the Village office 9533 N. E. 2nd Avenue.
Councilmen present were Mr. Goll, Mr. Carlisle, and
Mr. Lindsey, Mr. Lindsey acted as chairman in the absence of the
Mayor.
The offer of the Garrison Investment Company to settle
litigation was discussed, and upon motion of Mr. Goll, seconded by
Mr. Carlisle action on this matter was postponed until a later meet-
ing.
The application of Mr. Peach to pay up taxes on NF4 of
NB, of Section 1-53-41 was discussed and it was decided to postpone
action until a majority of the Council could be presentp and that if
settlement should be made, it would be dated as of March 28th, 1936.
Upon motion of Mr. Goll, seconded by Mr. Lindsey, the
Village Attorney was instructed to prepare an ordinance for the adopt-
ion of a filling station license fee, not exceeding rates charged
by the City of Miami.
Upon motion of Mr. Carlisle, seconded by Mr. Goll, the
Council authorized the execution of a corrected deed of reconveyance
to Do- ald M. Felson.
Mr. Roy Sappenfield, representative of the Murphy McDonald
Builders Supply Companyi was informed that a formal written appeal
from the Planning Board's decisions, would have to be presented be-
fore any action on such matters could be taken.
The Council decided to hold a special meeting the next
day July let, 1936 to discuss the proposed budget for the coming
fiscal gear, after wbich the meeting was adjourned.
