07-03-1934 Special Meeting MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
OF
MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL
July 3rd, 1934.
Upon call of the Mayor, a special meeting of
Miami Shores Village Council was held at the Village Offices
on July 3rd at 7: 30 P.M. All members of the council were
present.
The Mayor presented copies of a proposed
tentative budget covering the period from Aug. 1, 1934 to
July 31, 1935. Each item in the proposed budget was discussed
in detail and it was decided that certain items should be given
further consideration before final approval was made. Therefore,
at the suggestion of the Mayor, it was agreed that a later meeting
of the council be held on Tuesday July 17th to further consider
the proposed budget, after which time on July 24th, a public
meeting of the tax payers of the village would be held to hear
any objections to the proposed budget and tax roll. The village
clerk was instructed to arrange proper legal noti.cewof,,saidnpublic
meeting.
No other matters being presented for discussion,
the meeting was adjourned.
