The provisions of Chapter 34 of the South Florida Building, Code (S1-BC) govern all the minimum requirements and standards of the industry for roofing system installations. Additionally, the following items Should be addressed as part of the agreement between the owner and the contractor. The owner's initial in the adjacent box indicates that the item has been explained. _1. Aesthetics - Workmanship: The workmanship provisions of Chapter 34 sire for the purpose of providing that the roofing system meets the wind resistance and water intrusion performance standards. Aesthetics ( appearance) issues are not a consideration with respect to .vorkmanship provisions. Aesthetic issues such as color or architectural appearance, that are not part of a zoning code, should be addressed as part of the agreement between the owner and the contractor. 2. The total of the tested roof surface area was less than 5000 square feet, and the mean height of ' the roof is less than 30 feet above ground surface. The type of tile used for this project was reported to be Clay "S" Roof Tile. This tile was reported to have been foamed in place. ' At the time of this testing, one test for every corner, one test for every 100 square feet of roof tile in the perimeter area and one test for every 200 square feet of roof the in the field area were tested.
