RE: 1099 NE 96 ST Miami Shore,F133138 Dear Building Official: I have inspected the above referenced project and the following is a report of my findings: ROOF FRANIINGS: I conducted a visual inspection of the Rafters. There were several rafters with partial deterioration in the in overhand area. The deteriorated sections were repaired by eliminating the deteriorated sections and replacing them with new members the same dimensions. The union between the two (2) members was done by placing members of the same dimension to both sides and joining both by overlapping members guarantying an overlap of more than two feet with 16d penny nails at 6"of center staggered. New sections are connected to the Support Tie Beam with connector NU-VIDE NVRT-2.
