This certification verifies the following items: • It was found a#5 rebar inserted approximately 3 inches deep into the existing tie beam with a typical lap splice of approximately 36 inches. #3 ties were use at the splice. The rebars and ties were found in good condition and in compliance with the Florida Building Code 2014 edition. • It was found a#5 rebar with a 90-degree angle inserted approximately 3 inches deep into the existing concrete column with approximately 36 inches lap splice into the existing tie beam. #3 ties were use at the splice section. The rebars and ties were found in good condition and in compliance with the Florida Building Code 2014 edition. • It was found that high strength epoxy grout was used to fill all gaps and holes.All dust, debris, loose and spalled concrete was removed thoroughly by blast cleaning prior to epoxy application.
