Per your request,we have analyzed the complete Lennox Residential Line of units.Our analysis was
performed in accordance with the 2014 Florida Building Code using the following Wind Design Criteria:
• Ultimate Wind Speed=186 miles per hour
• Risk Categories=III and IV
• Wind Exposures=C and D
• Non-Roof Install Height of up to 10 feet above ground
As a result,we have concluded that only the 39.5inch long by 35.5inch wide cabinet LENNOX ELITE and
DAVE LENNOX SIGNATURE SERIES require additional screws for non-rooftop installations of up to 10 feet
above ground. (Reference page 6 for model numbers)
All other residential units may be installed as manufactured.(Reference pages 2 to 5 for model
numbers)
Please note that our analysis and results pertain only to the LENNOX unit itself and its ability to maintain
structural and panel integrity under severe wind events.The attachment of the units to the building

Units that are exposed to wind shall be designed and installed to resist the wind pressures determined in accordance with the
Florida Building Code.This kit consists of this instruction and four sheet metal screws.This kit is required for medium and large
base Elite®and all Dave Lennox Signature®Collection outdoor units.
REQUIRED TOOLS: Electric or cordless drill,drill bit capable of drilling into metal(.125"or 1/8"), 1/4"nut driver or drill socket.
