This inspection was performed,by means of visual observations and conducting roof field test cuts,to inspect the placement of the roof underlayment(in progress inspection). At the time of our inspection,the installation of the roofing underlayment was completed. Two test cuts were made. The followings were noted: Slope Roof 1. The roof underlayment was noted to be 30/Self-Adhered Polystick TU Plus. This underlayment was resting on wood deck(Photo 1 and 2 of 6). 2. The 30#anchor sheet was mechanically attached to the roof deck with 1-1/4"ring shank nails and 1-5/8"tin caps. The nailing pattern was noted to be approximately 6"o.c.at the 4" side laps and two rows between the side laps at a fastener spacing between 6 and 8" o.c. (Photo 3 and 6 of 6). 3. Along the perimeter edges, metal drip edge was provided. This metal flashing was mechanically attached to the roof deck with 1-1/4" ring shank nails at a fastener spacing of approximately 4" o.c.
