SCOPE:
This NOA Is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials. The
documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami -Dade County RER-Product Control Section to be
used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ}.
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami -Dade County Product Control Section (In
Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right to have this product or
material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to perform in the accepted manner, the
manufacturer will incur -the expense of such testing and the AHJ may immediately revoke, modify, or suspend the use of
such product or material within their jurisdiction. RER reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined
by Miami -Dade County Product Control Section that this product or material fails to meet the requirements of the
applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code,
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone.

4. When used in areas outside of the "HVHZ" requiring wind bome debris protection this product complies with Section 1609.t1 of the
2010 FBC and does not require an impact resistant covering. This products meets missile level "D" and includes Wind Zone 4 as
defined in ASTM E1996 and Section 1609.1.2.4 of the FBC.
5. For 2x stud framing construction, anchoring of these units shall be the same as that shown for 2x buck masonry construction.
6. Site conditions that deviate from the details of drawing FL -10537.1 require further engineering analysis by a licensed engineer or
registered architect.
7. Outswing configurations using tthreshold item 94 meet water infiltration requirements for "HVHZ".
8. Inswing and outswing configurations using threshold item #5 do not meet the water infiltration requirements for the "HVHZ" and shall be
installed only in non -habitable areas or at habitable locations protected by an overhang or canopy such that the angle between the
edge of canopy or overhang to sill is less than 45 degrees.
