Dear Sirs;
In accordance with your request and authorization, a representative of Reileh Engineering
Corporation completed the Roof Tile Uplift Test at the above referenced project. This testing was
performed in general accordance with Roofing Application Standard TAS No. 106 -- Standard
procedure for field verification of the bonding of mortar or adhesive set tile system and mechanically
attached, rigid, discontinuous roof systems.
The total of the tested roof surface area was less than 10000 square feet, and the mean height of the
roof is less than 40 feet above ground surface. The type of tile used for this project was reported to
be Verea Roof Tile. This tile was reported to have been foamed in place.
At the time of our inspection, the entire area of the roof was examined for loose tiles. Not less than
one (1) tile in ten (10) of all components in the field area and one (1) tile in five (5) of all tiles in the
perimeter and comer areas were physically examined. A minimum of one (1) test per every two (2)
squares in the field, one (1) test per square in the perimeter area, ridge caps and (1) in the comer
areas were conducted.

We hereby submit specifications and estimates for:
RE -ROOF -TILE (Adhesive Application)
• Remove existing roof to the deck and remove all debris from site.
• Re -nail existing deck to meet current Florida Building Code requirements.
• The first 300 linear feet of damaged deck wood replaced in the entire roof (Tile and Flat roof) are free . Additional lumber
work will be charged as per to the specifications on the Lumber Price Sheet.
• Tin cap one layer of base sheet #30 Ib ASTM with 1 W ring shank nails and 1 5/8" tin caps.
• Tin cap the perimeter in a length of 3' from the eave drip metal at 6" on center.
• Provide and install 3" x 3" galvanized eave drip metals color around the perimeter of the roof nailed 4" on
center staggered.
• Seal the finishes of the metals or felts with roofing cement and 4" Membrane.
• Hot mop valleys with an additional slate # 90 and mop a 16" galvanized valley.
• Seal the borders of the valley with a 9" strip of #90 LB felt set in hot asphalt.
• Provide and install new lead stacks for plumbing pipes and vents approved by code, as applicable.
• Install galvanized 5" x 7" (L) wall flashing and counter wall flashing metal as required.
• Provide and hot mop one slate sheet of #90 LB set in hot asphalt. (Back nailed 12" on center)
• Install new galvanize hip and ridge metal frame nailed 4" on center, sealed with roofing cement.
• Supply S Clay Tile, (customer to select manufacture and color).

• Color: TERRACOTTA Initial:
• Install hip and ridge tiles to metal frame to meet current code uplift resistance.
• Install bird stops of metal, clay, or rubber, depending on the type of tile, around the perimeter of the roof.
• Install tile with poly -foam adhesive system and screws, as applicable on required rows.
• The finish of the tile is done with mortar matching the color of the tile or gray mortar.
• Provide an uplift test by a certified engineer after the installation of the tile.
• Remove all debris away from site, caused by the process of completing the job
• Supply permit required by the city.
Note: Customer is responsible to trim all branches of tree(s) around the roof to prevent more damage
The Contractor shall furnish and install the necessary materials as required to perform the work described in the proposal above. The Owner is entitled to receive the
benefit of any and all manufacture warranties that exist for materials used, provided that the Contractor has been paid in full. The Contractor excludes from this
guarantee any losses occasioned by tornadoes, hurricanes, or any other natural disaster. Also excluded from this coverage arc leaks caused by footwear or any
subsequent construction or installation of equipment on the roof. Contractor will not be liable for any delays due to circumstances beyond its control, such as strikes,
casualty, or unavailability of materials. Tiger and Son Roofing is not responsible if at the time during the roofing work existing roof is found not to meet Building
Code requirements. In addition, owner is to continue to perform all payments as listed on the contract. This guarantee is not transferable, unless the parties expressly
agree otherwise. The price quoted above is for the proposed work only, where during the removal of the existing roof (where applicable) it is found that additional
repairs are needed, this may increase the cost of the job. The contractor is not obligated to continue to perform work where any payment is not timely paid by the
owner. If the Contractor does not receive payment in full, contractor reserves all rights to pursue such claims, debts, or causes of action againsfthe owner, including
but not limited to imposition of mechanic's liens. Where the parties under this Agreement pursue legal action based on this Contract, the prevailing party shall be

• 5 Provide and Install new 4" Aluminum retro fit Drain (Note: We recommend owner to install 6" plumbing pipe to
allow for faster and proper water drainage to prevent water back flow. Customer is responsible to hire plumber
contractor)
• Provide and Install galvanized 5" x 7" (L) wall flashing and stucco counter wall flashing metal as required.
• Provide and install new lead stacks approved by the Building Code.
• Provide and install 3" Insulation around the windows at the Flat roof.
• Provide and install 3" x 4" wood nailer around the windows at the Tile roof
• Provide and install galvanized 4" x 5" skirt flashing metal color Terracotta around the perimeter at the tile and flat roof tie-in
• Seal all the base flashings of the windows with 100% silicone waterproofing sealant.
• Primer all metals with asphalt primer so they may work well with the asphalt setting.
• Provide and install one new 6" One Way Moisture vent every 600 Square Feet. (This one way moisture vent will
elongate the life of the roof by allowing trapped moisture to flow out).
• Install one layer of white mineral surface Cap Sheet felt set in hot asphalt type 3 as the roof surface.
• Apply loose granules over asphalt bleed outs.
• Remove all debris from site caused by the process of completing the job.
• Supply roofing permit.
Notes: if customer chooses to install 2'x 2' skylights, the additional cost to the contract is $400.00/each.

or architectural appearance, that are not part of a zoning code, should be addressed as part of the agreement
between the owner and the contractor.
�aL'— .2. Renailing Wood Decks: When replacing roofing, the existing wood roof deck may have to be
renailed in accordance with the current provisions of Section R4403. (The roof deck is usually concealed prior
to removing the existing roof system.)
3. common Roofs: Common roofs are those which have no visible delineation between
neighboring units (i.e. townhouses, condominiums, etc.) In buildings with common roofs, the roofing
contractor and/or owner should notify the occupants of adjacent units of roofing work to be performed.
4. Exposed Ceilings: Exposed, open beam ceilings are where the underside of the roof decking
can be viewed from below. The owner may wish to maintain the architectural appearance, therefore, roofing
nail penetrations of the underside of the decking may not be acceptable. This provides the option of maintaining
this appearance.
5. Ponding Water: The current roof system and/or deck of the building may not drain well and
may cause water to pond (accumulate) in low-lying areas of the roof. Ponding can be an indication of
structural distress and may require the review of a professional structural engineer. Ponding may shorten
the life expectancy and performance of the new roofing system. Ponding conditions may not be evident
until the original roofing system is removed. Ponding conditions should be corrected.
6. Overflow scuppers (wall outlets): It is required that rainwater flow off so that the roof is not
overloaded from a build up of water. Perimeter/edge walls or other roof extensions may block this discharge
if overflow scuppers (wall outlets) are not provided. It may be necessary to install overflow scuppers in
accordance with the requirements of Sections R4402, R4403 and R4413.
7. Ventilation: Most roof structures should have some ability to vent natural airflow through the
interior of the structural assembly (the building itself). The existing amount of attic ventilation shall not be
reduced. It may be beneficial to consider additional venting which can result in extending the service life of
the roof.
Exception: Attic spaces, designed by a Florida licensed engineer or registered architect to eliminate the attic
venting, venting shall not be required.

SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction
materials. The documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami -Dade County RER -
Product Control Section to be used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority
Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami -Dade County Product
Control Section (In Miarni Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County)
reserve the right to have this product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or
material fails to perform in the accepted manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing
and the AHJ may immediately revoke, modify, or suspend the use of such product or material within their
jurisdiction. RER reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined by Miami -Dade County
Product Control Section that this product or material fails to meet the requirements of the applicable
building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code.
DESCRIPTION: GAF Conventional Built -Up Roof Systems for Wood Decks.
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and
following statement: "Miami -Dade County Product Control Approved", unless otherwise noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been no
change in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change in
the materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement of any
product, for sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA. Failure to comply
with any section of this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami -Dade County, Florida, and followed
by the expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is displayed, then
it shall be done in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors
and shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.

ratings of this product.
Insulation may be installed in multiple layers. The first layer shall be attached in compliance with Product Control
Approval guidelines. All other layers shall be adhered in a full mopping of approved asphalt applied within the
EVT range and at a rate of 20-40 lbs./sq., or mechanically attached using the fastening pattern of the top layer
All standard panel sizes are acceptable for mechanical attachment. When applied in approved asphalt, panel size
shall be 4'x 4' maximum.
An overlay and/or recovery board insulation panel is required on all applications over closed cell foam insulations
when the base sheet is fully mopped. If no recovery board is used the base sheet shall be applied using spot
mopping with approved asphalt, 12" diameter circles, 24" o.c.; or strip mopped 8" ribbons in three rows, one at
each sidelap and one down the center of the sheet allowing a continuous area of ventilation. Encircling of the
strips is not acceptable. A 6" break shall be placed every 12' in each ribbon to allow cross ventilation. Asphalt
application of either system shall be at a minimum rate of 121bs./sq. Note: Spot attached systems shall be
limited to a maximum design pressure of -45 psf.
Fastener spacing for insulation attachment is based on a Minimum Characteristic Force (F') value of 275 lbf., as
tested in compliance with Testing Application Standard TAS 105. If the fastener value, as field-tested, are below
275 lbf. insulation attachment shall not be acceptable.
Fastener spacing for mechanical attachment of anchor/base sheet or membrane attachment is based on a minimum
fastener resistance value in conjunction with the maximum design value listed within a specific system. Should the
fastener resistance be less than that required, as determined by the Building Official, a revised fastener spacing,
prepared, signed and sealed by a Florida Registered Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Registered
Roof Consultant may be submitted. Said revised fastener spacing shall utilize the withdrawal resistance value
taken from Testing Application Standards TAS 105 and calculations in compliance with Roofing Application
Standard RAS 117.
Perimeter and corner areas shall comply with the enhanced uplift pressure requirements of these areas. Fastener

All attachment and sizing of perimeter nailers, metal profile, and/or flashing termination designs shall conform to
Roofing Application Standard RAS 111 and applicable wind load requirements.
The maximum designed pressure limitation listed shall be applicable to all roof pressure zones (i.e. field,
perimeters, and corners). Neither rational analysis, nor extrapolation shall be permitted for enhanced fastening at
enhanced pressure zones (i.e. perimeters, extended corners and corners). (When this limitation is specifically
referred within this NOA, General Limitation #7 will not be applicable.)
All products listed herein shall have a quality assurance audit in accordance with the Florida Building Code and

SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials. The
documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami -Dade County PERA - Product Control Section to
be used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami -Dade County Product Control
Section (In Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right to
have this product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to perform in
the accepted manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may immediately
revoke, modify, or suspend the use of such product or material within their jurisdiction. PERA reserves the right
to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined by Miami -Dade County Product Control Section that this product or
material fails to meet the requirements of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code.
DESCRIPTION: 3MTM 2 -Component Foam Roof Tile Adhesive AH -160
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and following
statement: "Miami -Dade County Product Control Approved", unless otherwise noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been no change
in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change in the
materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement of any product, for
sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA. Failure to comply with any section of
this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami -Dade County, Florida, and followed by the
expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is displayed, then it shall be done
in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors and
shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.
This renews and revises NOA# 11-0124.04 and consists of pages 1 through 7.

noted in the roof file assembly NOA.
3. 3MTM 2 -Component Foam Roof Tile Adhesive AH -160 and its components shall be installed in accordance with
Roofing Application Standard RAS 120, and 3M Company's 3MTM 2 -Component Foam Roof Tile Adhesive AH -
160 Operating Instruction and Maintenance Booklet,
4. Installation must be by a Factory Trained 'Qualified Applicator' approved and licensed by 3M Company. 3M
Company shall supply a list of approved applicators to the authority having jurisdiction.
5. Calibration of the Foam Dispenser RTF1000 dispensing equipment is required before application of any adhesive.
The mix ratio between the "A" component and the "B" component shall be maintained between 1.0-1.15 (A): 1.0
(B). The dispense timer shall be set to deliver 0.0175 to 0.15 pounds per file as determined at calibration. No
other settings shall be approved.
6. 3MTM 2 -Component Foam Roof Tile Adhesive AH -160 shall be applied with Foam Dispenser RTF1000 or
ProPack® 30 & 100 dispensing equipment only.
7. 3MT14 2 -Component Foam Roof Tile Adhesive AH -160 shall not be exposed permanently to sunlight.
8. Tiles must be adhered in freshly applied adhesive. Tile must be set within 2 to 3 minutes after 3M1M 2 -
Component Foam Roof Tile Adhesive AH -160 has been dispensed.
9. 3MTM 2 -Component Foam Roof Tile Adhesive AH -160 placement and minimum patty weight shall be in
accordance with the 'Placement Details' herein. Each generic tile profile requires the specific placement noted
herein.
