Tower Engineering Professionals is pleased to submit this "Structural Analysis Report" to determine the
structural integrity of the above mentioned structures.
The purpose of the analysis is to determine acceptability of the structure stress level. Based on our analysis we
have determined the stress level for the structure, under the following load case, to be:
LC1: Existing + Proposed + Future Equipment Sufficient Capacity
Note: See Table 1 for the existing and proposed loading.
This analysis has been performed in accordance with the 2010 Florida Building Code based upon an ultimate 3 -
second gust wind speed of 175 mph converted to a nominal 3 -second gust wind speed of 136 mph per section
1609.3.1 as required for use in the TIA-222-G Standard per Exception #5 of Section 1609.1.1. Exposure
Category C and Risk Category 11 were used in this analysis.
All equipment proposed in this report shall be installed in accordance with the appurtenances listed in Table 1
and the attached drawings for the determined available structural capacity to be effective.

1) INTRODUCTION
This analysis is for a roof mounted platform and antenna mounts attached to a 160 -ft church steeple. All
information provided to TEP was assumed to be accurate and complete.
2) ANALYSIS CRITERIA
The structural analysis was performed for this mount in accordance with the requirements of ANSI/TIA-222-G-2-
2009 Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures and Antennas — Addendum 2 and the 2010 Florida
Building, Code using a 3 -second gust wind speed of 136 mph with no ice and 60 mph under service loads with
the following design criteria:
1) Classification of Structure: Class 11
Definition: Structures used for services that due to height, use or location represent a significant
hazard to human life and/or damage to property in the event of failure and/or used for services that
may be provided by other means.
2) Exposure Category: Exposure C
Definition: Open terrain with scattered obstructions having heights generally less than 30 -ft. This
category includes flat, open country and grasslands.
3) Topographic Category: Category 1
Definition: No abrupt changes in general topography, e.g. flat or rolling terrain, no wind speed-up
consideration shall be required.
4) Earthquake Category: Not Considered
Commentary: Earthquake effects may be ignored per this Standard for site locations where Ss
does not exceed 1.0. (Miami -Dade County Ss = 0.08)

3.1) Analysis Method
RISA -3D, a commercially available analysis software package, was used to create a three-
dimensional model of the existing structure and calculate member stresses for various loading cases.
Selected output for the analysis is included in Appendix A.
3.2) Assumptions
1) The structure was built in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
2) The structure has been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's specification.
3) The configuration of antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances are as
specified in Table 1.
4) When applicable, transmission cables are considered as structural components for calculating
wind loads as allowed by the standard.
5) All structure components are in sufficient condition to carry their full design capacity.
6) Serviceability with respect to antenna twist, tilt, roll, or lateral translation, is not checked and is
left to the carrier or tower owner to ensure conformance.
7) All mounting hardware is structurally sufficient to carry the full design capacity requirements of
appurtenance wind area and weight as provided by the original manufacturer specifications.
8) The connection of the mount to the structure is adequate to resist the design loads on the
mount and supported appurtenances.
9) The main wind force resisting system of the structure is adequate to resist the additional lateral
loads. The structure wall and roof has adequate capacity to resist applied loads.
10) The additional dead loads for the proposed equipment in the rooftop platform cabinet do not
increase the force in any element of the building by more than 5 percent.
11) The proposed equipment in the platform cabinets does not increase the wind area on the
platform cabinets.
12) Analysis of the equipment platform was performed for feasibility purposes. Intermediate framing
may be required to support the future cabinet which is not in the scope of this report.
13) The following material grades were assumed:
a) Connection bolts: A325N
b) HSS grade: A500 Gr. 46
c) W -Shape grade: A36
This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error. Tower
Engineering Professionals, Inc. should be notified to determine the effect on the integrity of the
structure.

SECTION 01 100 — SCOPE OF WORK
THE WORK:
SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE NATIONAL CODES AND STANDARDS, LATEST EDITION, AND
PORTIONS THEREOF.
PRECEDENCE:
SHOULD CONFLICTS OCCUR BETWEEN THE STANDARD CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS FOR
WIRELESS SITES INCLUDING THE STANDARD CONSTRUCTION DETAILS FOR WIRELESS SITES
AND THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS, INFORMATION ON THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS SHALL
TAKE PRECEDENCE.
SITE FAMILIARITY:
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FAMILIARIZING HIMSELF WITH ALL CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS, FIELD CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH
CONSTRUCTION.
ON—SITE SUPERVISION:
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPERVISE AND DIRECT THE WORK AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR CONSTRUCTION MEANS, METHODS, TECHNIQUES, SEQUENCES, AND PROCEDURES IN

DRAWINGS AT THE JOBSITE FROM MOBILIZATION THROUGH CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION.
A. DETAILS ARE INTENDED TO SHOW DESIGN INTENT. PROVIDE ALL MATERIALS AND
LABOR AS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE AND FUNCTIONING SYSTEM.
MODIFICATIONS MAY BE REQUIRED TO SUIT JOB DIMENSIONS OR CONDITIONS, AND
SUCH MODIFICATIONS SHALL BE INCLUDED AS PART OF THE WORK.
B. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY SPRINT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER OF ANY VARIATIONS

COMPANY FURNISHED MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT IS IDENTIFIED ON THE RF DATA SHEET IN
THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS.
CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SPRINT PROVIDED MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT TO
ENSURE IT IS PROTECTED AND HANDLED PROPERLY THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION
DURATION.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBLE FOR RECEIPT OF SPRINT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT AT CELL SITE
OR CONTRACTORS LOCATION. CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE SHIPPING AND RECEIPT

SECTION 01 300 — CELL SITE CONSTRUCTION
NOTICE TO PROCEED:
NO WORK SHALL COMMENCE PRIOR TO COMPANY'S WRITTEN NOTICE TO PROCEED AND THE
ISSUANCE OF WORK ORDER.
SITE CLEANLINESS:
CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP THE SITE FREE FROM ACCUMULATING WASTE MATERIAL, DEBRIS,
AND TRASH. AT THE COMPLETION OF THE WORK, CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE FROM THE
SITE ALL REMAINING RUBBISH, IMPLEMENTS, TEMPORARY FACILITIES, AND SURPLUS
MATERIALS.
SECTION 01 400 — SUBMITTALS & TESTS
ALTERNATES:
AT THE COMPANY'S REQUEST, ANY ALTERNATIVES TO THE MATERIALS OR METHODS
SPECIFIED SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO SPRINTS CONSTRUCTION MANAGER FOR APPROVAL.
SPRINT WILL REVIEW AND APPROVE ONLY THOSE REQUESTS MADE IN WRITING. NO
VERBAL APPROVALS WILL BE CONSIDERED,
TESTS AND INSPECTIONS:
A. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION TESTS,
INSPECTIONS AND PROJECT DOCUMENTATION.

SITERRA USING A COMMERCIAL MADE—FOR THE PURPOSE ELECTRONIC ANTENNA
ALIGNMENT TOOL (AAT). INSTALLED AZIMUTH, CENTERLINE AND DOWNTILT MUST
CONFORM WITH RF CONFIGURATION DATA
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL CORRECTIONS TO ANY
WORK IDENTIFIED AS UNACCEPTABLE IN SITE INSPECTION ACTIVITIES AND/OR AS A
RESULT OF TESTING.

ANTENNAS, AND AS REQUIRED FOR WATERTIGHT PERFORMANCE. ROOFTOP ENTRY OPENINGS
IN MEMBRANE ROOFTOPS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED TO COMPLY WITH LANDLORD, ANY

C. ROOF INSPECTION PHOTOGRAPHS SHOULD BE UPLOADED WITH CLOSEOUT
PHOTOGRAPHS.
SECTION 09 900 — PAINTING
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
A.. COMPLY WITH GOVERNING CODES AND REGULATIONS. PROVIDE PRODUCTS OF
ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS WHICH HAVE BEEN IN SATISFACTORY USE IN SIMILAR
SERVICE FOR THREE YEARS. USE EXPERIENCED INSTALLERS. DELIVER, HANDLE, AND
STORE MATERIALS IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS.
B. COMPLY WITH ALL ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS FOR VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS.
MATERIALS:
A. MANUFACTURERS: BENJAMIN MOORE, ICI DEVOE COATINGS, PPG, SHERWIN WILLIAMS OR

TWO FINISH COATS. PAINT FOR ANTENNAE SHALL BE NON—METALLIC BASED AND
CONTAIN NO METALLIC PARTICLES. PROVIDE COLORS AND PATTERNS AS REQUIRED TO
MASK APPEARANCE OF ANTENNAE ON ADJACENT BUILDING SURFACES AND AS

2. Colored tape may be obtained from vraybar Electronic. UV stabilized tape or heat shrink are preferred.
3. The first ring shall be closest to the end of the cable, and there shall be a 1" space between each ring.
4. The cable color code shall be applied in accordance to Table 19-1.
A. Table 19-1 only shows 3 sectors, but additional sectors are easily supported by adding the appropriate number of colored rings to the cable color code.
5. After the cable color code is applied, the frequency color code, Table 19-2, must be applied for the specific frequency band in use on a giver, line.
A.2" gap shall separate the cable color code from the frequency color code.
H. The 2" color rings for the frequency code shall be placed next to each other with no spaces.
6. Wrap 2" colored tape a minimum of 3 times around the coax, and keep the tape in the same area as much as possible. This will allow removal of tape that fades or discolors due to weather.
7. Examples of the cable and frequency color codes are shown in Figure 19-1 and Figure 19-2.
