Dear Building Official,
The present letter is to notify to the concerned parties and corresponding authorities that I,
Alexander Rochell, P.E., has visited the existing residential structure and has performed an
inspection of the structural envelope, which includes the floor framing. The floor framing
consists of 2x10 wood joists spanning between exterior masonry walls and interior stem walls.
The floor sheathing consists of 5/8" thick plywood sheathing nailed to the wood joists in an
uniform pattern.
No visible deterioration could be observed on the wood floor framing during this inspection.
The wood floor framing for this residence is functioning and in good condition. There are no
obvious overloading or overstress signs of the structural members or significant deterioration of
the structure. The effect of time with respect to deterioration of the original construction
materials has been evaluated and is considered minimal.
Should you have any question regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Respectfully,
Alexander R66hell, P.E.
