FPL's On Call® program is the easiest way to save up to $137 per year on your electric bills. By going "On
Call ", you agree to let FPL occasionally cycle off select appliances for short periods - only when absolutely

Your Home's Insulation
Quick tip: The insulating power or "R -value" measures insulation's ability to keep cool air in the house in
summer and warm air in the house in winter. Homes built after 1982 are required to have R -19 ceiling
insulation, which is the level that FPL recommends.
FPL inspected your home's insulation on 2001 -10-23 and found it to have sufficient ceiling insulation. Based
on today's finding FPL recommends increasing your ceiling insulation to R -19. Youll save about $343 a year
and make your home more comfortable.
A Simple Duct Test Can Save You Money
Quick tip: Fifty percent of all homes have leaky A/C ducts that go undetected. These leaks allow cool air to

When leaving home for vacation, you can help prevent mold and mildew from developing in your vacant home by
controlling the humidity inside. You can accomplish this and still manage your energy costs by setting your thermostat

Dryer
• Keeping the lint filter clean is one simple way to increase the efficiency and lifespan (and decrease the
operating costs) of your dryer. Just removing the lint from the filter isn't always enough. The fine mesh of
most dryer filters can be clogged in ways that aren't obvious at a casual glance. Sometimes softener
sheets can cause waxy build -ups on lint screens that require a little extra effort, usually no more than a
quick scrub and rinse in warm, soapy water to remove.
• Many modem dryers also use moisture sensors rather than ordinary timed cycles, and residue from
dryer sheets can coat the sensors and interfere with their ability to function properly. Cleaning the sensor
screen with a little detergent and a soft brush, and wiping off the sensor itself with a cotton ball and some
rubbing alcohol can rectify this problem.
• Don't overload the dryer.
• Avoid over -drying clothes by using the auto sensor function on your dryer, if you have one. If not, try
setting the timer 15 minutes less than usual and see if the clothes are dry.

Prestige is giving me the run around on this rebate AND on their system not properly working in my home. They
installed a 120 gallon water heater that will not heat up with solar energy so it is heating up with FPL and that has shot
my bill through the roof going as high as $600+ dollars per month I
An FPL representative was at my house to do an analysis and when the 3 AC units were on, along with the water heater,
the meter was reading 490OKW I He asked me to turn off the water heater and the KWs dropped to 900. He was
surprised at how much the water heater system was pulling and could not understand why if it is a SOLAR system it
pulling that many KWs.
I need someone to PLEASE help me. Since September I have been trying to get Prestige to resolve all of this and they
have not. I can't even get them to come to my house to look at the system with their technician who is the person that
installed it. For 4 weeks they keep telling me the installer is not available. Or that it is raining and they cannot come

when it is raining. Someone please help me ... this system cost me $29,000.00 and I have to pay that by next
month. Great to pay it when the system is working, but it isn't.

Good morning. As a friendly follow up to our exchange yesterday I want to touch base on the rebate situation at hand. I
have looked on my email and it seems that you are right. I may had never sent you an email in regards about that and I
apologize about that. It may had been a phone conversation but something tells me that I had a conversation about this
case, it could had been with FPL directly.
Anyhow there was a reservation on your account. Once FPL saw the permit for the water heater was before the
application for rebate was made, that made the reservation not eligible for the rebate. Therefore there is no longer a
reservation on file for the project.
I am sorry again, I really wish I had better news for you.

How can it be too late when the permit is pulled within weeks of my meeting with Harold? And the FPL contact called
me WAAAAY after the permit was pulled. Unless you guys pulled another permit for something else but none of this is
making sense to me. And the FPL man said there wasn't anything I could do that he needed the certificate from you
guys and he was calling me because he did not want me to lose that rebate.
Well, dealing with Prestige has been nothing but a headache and a total disaster. How can you work for a company with
those ethics, Brian? I couldn't do it, I'd not be able to sleep knowing I am royally screwing over innocent people who in
good faith contracted me for work. And, again, for a WHOPPING $30,0000... that's a lot of money to just throw away.

Yes, lots outstanding. Last I met with your boss he was to test the system to make sure it works. Since then I have met
with FPL and have a report as well as another company who has given some details as to what may be wrong with the
solar water heater system your company installed. Any idea when your boss intends on following up with me to
conclude the study of the water heater to determine whether the unit is indeed working perfectly?

FPL rebates are only provided to Solar Water Heater installations. Not attic fans. Therefore you should only
have one for your personal property as this is the only one noted with Solar Water Heater.

I was able to get additional help from FPL on this rebate. Our representative did confirm you have a
reservation and that we have 21 days left on it as of today to submit our paperwork. Phewwwww! Lol.
I am sending a request as we speak (which I am coping you on to obtain the reservation number. I am not
sure how you never got the email tho. Maybe spam? Anyhow we are good on this matter and I don't see why
we wont be able to close the permit within that timeframe.
III keep you appraised on the next following inspection date. Thank you for the help O

Brian,
Right before my trip to Brazil last week I got a call from a man who said he was with FPL and that he never received the
proper paperwork from the company I bought the solars from. I told him I had filled out something online and
submitted it with the rep. here (HAROLD) but he said there's a form they needed to send in and he had not received the
form. He also said my rebate was about to expire so I need to have you look into this ASAP and find out if those forms
were sent and is everything okay. I will NOT be happy if proper papers were not submitted by you guys and I lose out on
a thousand dollars! I appreciate you help with this.
