Minimum 1/4" Dens DeckTM Roof Board or 1/2" Type X gypsum board is acceptable to be installed directly over the wood deck. GENERAL LIMITATIONS: 1. As it pertains to this section, it is the responsibility of the roofing contractor to provide the owner with the required roofing permit, and to explain to the owner the content of this section.
