Per Cha pter 23, Calculations maybe performed using AF &PA NDS -05, AISI S100- 07(Non HVHZ),and AISI SG02-01 (HVHZ). AISI S100-07 is an updated version of the previous 2001 edition referenced in the 2007 Code. Though there are changes to the organization of the st ndard, the new language does not affect the applicability of connector capacities. ASTM D1761-88(2000) and AI SI SG02 -01 standards remain unchanged from the 2007 Code. Upon review of the most current standa rds, we have found no significant revisions that impact thei rap plicabilitytrwa rds Si mpson's current substantiation of their metal connector products. In addition, we have found no language in the 2010 FBC that would impa ct the applicability of the Code provisions to Simpson's current substantiation of their products. Therefore, pursuant to Chapter9N -3.008 Section (f), we have determined that the 2010 edition of the Florida Building Code does not require a material or substantive change to the currentiyapproved applications, and as such, the current products comply with the 2010FIori da Building Code requirements. The use of Simpson metal connector products approved under the FL numbers referenced herein is subject to the same limitations as those provided for in the arrentevaluation reports.
