Any conditions or materials which were not able to be visually observed on the surface, or in easily accessible areas, were not inspected and may differ from those observed. It was not within the scope of this investigation to remove surface materials to investigate portions of the structure or materials which lay beneath the surface. Our selection of sample locations and frequency is based upon our observations and the assumption that like materials in the same area are homogeneous. This inspection report is the result of a diligent search of the facility for Asbestos Containing Building Materials (ACBM). The purpose of this inspection was to identify those materials which may pose a health hazard to occupants of a building and impart future liability to the owners and insurers of the property. However, we do not claim to have identified all of the asbestos containing building materials present in the facility. Materials such as underground pipes, any material inside walls, ceilings, floors, or other enclosed and inaccessible areas were not sampled and are not covered in this report. This report is designed to aid the building owner, architect, construction manager, general contractor, and potential asbestos abatement contractor in locating asbestos containing building materials. Under no circumstances is this report to be utilized as a proposal or a project specification document. This report is based upon conditions and practices observed at the property and information made available to the surveyor. A roofing contractor or maintenance personnel selected by our client should be on the roof to make any necessary repairs at the time the samples are being obtained.
