6 For situations requiring Kd =1.0, multiply the values in
these tables by 1.18. Verify Kd requirements with local
building official and product approvals before use.

1 Tables show the " worst case" design pressures, with any
unknown variable at its critical condition.
2 Tables are valid for any roof slope. For reductions for roof
slopes less than 10 degrees, consult Engineer for site
specific analysis.
3 Calculate the average roof height. If average cannot be
determined, use the peak roof height. Round up the roof
height to the next highest table value.
4 Calculate the tributary area (length x height) of the opening
in question. Round the tributary area down to the next
smallest table value. If the tributary area is unknown, use
the most critical value (10 square feet).
5 Area between structural mullions shall be used as tributary
area
6 Determine the Zone (Interior 4, or Exterior 5) of the
opening. An opening with any portion closer than distance
°a" to a building comer shall be considered in an Exterior
Zone (5), otherwise Wall of the opening fells more than
distance °a° from a building comer, the opening shall be
considered in an Interior Zone (4).
7 Distance °a,° as r vial to above, shall be calculated as the
smaller of 10% of the minimum building width or 40% of
the height, but not less than 3 feet.
8 Read the worst case positive and negative design pressures
for use as required by governing building department.

Architectural Systems, Inc. based on Rule Chapter No. 9N- 3.005, Method la of the State of Florida
Product Approval, Department of Community Affairs - Florida Building Commission.
Alexis Spyrou, P.E. does not have nor will acquire financial interest in the company manufacturing or
distributing the product or in any other entity involved in the approval process of the product named
herein.
This product has been evaluated for use in locations adhering to the 2007 & 2010 Florida Building
Code as per standards listed on page three of this document.
See Installation Instructions EAS010, signed and sealed by Alexis Spyrou, P.E. (FL # 68101) for specific
use parameters.
1. This product has been evaluated and is in compliance with the 2007 & 2010 Florida Building
Code, including the "High Velocity Hurricane Zone" (HVHZ).
2. Product anchors shall be as listed and spaced as shown on details. Anchor embedment into
substrate material shall be beyond wall dressing or stucco.
3. When used in areas requiring wind borne debris protection this product complies with
Section 1609.1.2 of the 2007 & 2010 Florida Building Code and does not require an impact
resistant covering.
4. Site conditions that deviate from the details of drawing EAS010, require further engineering
analysis by a licensed engineer or registered architect.

Installation: 1. Approved anchor types and substrates are as follows:
Through Frame Installation:
A. For two by (2X) wood frame substrate, use #14 Wood Screws type wood frame anchors
of sufficient length to achieve minimum embedment of 1.50" into wood framing.
B. For concrete or masonry substrate where one by (1X), non - structural, wood bucking is
employed, use 1/4" diameter ITW Tapcon type concrete screw anchors of sufficient
length to achieve minimum embedment of 1.25" into concrete or masonry.
C. For concrete or masonry substrate where wood bucking is NOT employed, use 1/4"
diameter ITW Tapcon type concrete screw anchors of sufficient length to achieve
minimum embedment of 1.25" into concrete or masonry.
D. For aluminum substrate, use #14 self- tapping screw type aluminum frame anchors of
sufficient length to achieve a minimum three threads penetration beyond metal
structure.

SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction
materials. The documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami-Dade County PERA-
Product Control Section to be used in Miami -Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority
Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami -Dade County Product Control
Section (In Miami -Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami -Dade County) reserve the right
to have this product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to
perform in the accepted manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may
immediately revoke, modify, or suspend the use of such product or material within their jurisdiction. PERA
reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined by Miami -Dade County Product Control
Section that this product or material fails to meet the requirements of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code,
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone.
DESCRIPTION: Series "PW-701" Aluminum Fixed Window - L.M.I.
APPROVAL DOCUMENT: Drawing No. 4259 -4 titled "Aluminum Picture Window, Impact", sheets 1
through 8 of 8, prepared by manufacturer, dated 07/14/03 with revision "D" dated 10/18/11, signed and
sealed by Anthony Lynn Miller, P. E., bearing the Miami-Dade County Product Control Revision stamp with
the Notice of Acceptance number and Expiration date by the Miami Dade County Product Control Section.
MISSILE IMPACT RATING: Large and Small Missile Impact Resistant.
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state,
model/ series and following statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved" unless otherwise
noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been
no change in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change
in the materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement of
any product, for sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA. Failure to
comply with any section of this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami Dade County, Florida, and
followed by the expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is
displayed, then it shall be done in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its
distributors and shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.
This NOA revises NOA No. 10-0504.05 and consists of this page 1, evidence pages E-1 and E -2, as well as

This product has been evaluated for use in locations adhering to the 2007 & 2010 Florida Building
Code as per standards listed on page three of this document.

1. This product has been evaluated and is in compliance with the 2007 & 2010 Florida Building
Code, including the "High Velocity Hurricane Zone" (HVHZ).
2. Product anchors shall be as listed and spaced as shown on details. Anchor embedment into
substrate material shall be beyond wall dressing or stucco.
3. When used in areas requiring wind borne debris protection this product complies with
Section 1609.1.2 of the 2007 & 2010 Florida Building Code and does not require an impact
resistant covering.
4. Site conditions that deviate from the details of drawing EAS003, require further engineering

Installation: 1. Approved anchor types and substrates are as follows:
Through Frame Installation:
A. For two by (2X) wood frame substrate, use #14 Wood Screws type wood frame anchors
of sufficient length to achieve minimum embedment of 1.50" into wood framing.
B. For concrete or masonry substrate where one by (1X), non - structural, wood bucking is
employed, use 1/4" diameter ITW Tapcon type concrete screw anchors of sufficient
length to achieve minimum embedment of 1.25" into concrete or masonry.
C. For concrete or masonry substrate where wood bucking is NOT employed, use 1/4"
diameter ITW Tapcon type concrete screw anchors of sufficient length to achieve
minimum embedment of 1.25" into concrete or masonry.
D. For steel stud substrate, use #14 self- tapping screw anchors of sufficient length to
achieve three (3) threads minimum penetration beyond the metal structure.
E. For aluminum substrate, use 1#14 self - tapping screw type aluminum frame anchors of

SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction
materials. The documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami -Dade County PERA -
Product Control Section to be used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority
Having Juris f fiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami -Dade County Product Control
Section (In Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right
to have this product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to
perform in the accepted manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may
immediately revoke, modify, or suspend the use of such product or material within their jurisdiction. PERA
reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined by Miami-Dade County Product Control
Section that this product or material fails to meet the requirements of the applicable building code.

LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state,
model/series, and following statement: "Miami Dade County Product Control Approved ", unless otherwise
noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been
no change in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change
in the materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement
of any product, for sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA. Failure
to comply with any section of this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami -Dade County, Florida, and
followed by the expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is
displayed, then it shall be done in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its
distributors and shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.

SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials.
The documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami -Dade County PERA - Product Control
Section to be used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction
(AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami -Dade County Product Control
Section (In Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade county) reserve the right to
hie this product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to perform in
the accepted manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may immediately
revoke, modify, or suspend the use of such product or material within their jurisdiction. PERA reservds the right
to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined by Miami -Dade County Product Control Section that this product or
material fails to meet the requirements of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code,
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone.
DESCRIPTION: Aluminum Outswing Entrance Door -LMI
APPROVAL DOCUMENT: Drawing No. W04-01 Rev C, titled "Aluminum Outswing Entrance Door", sheets
1 through 5 of 5, dated 01/15/04 and last revised on FEB 01, 2012, prepared by AL -Farooq Corporation, signed
and sealed by Javad Ahmad, P.E., bearing the Miami -Dade County Product Control Revision stamp with the
Notice of Acceptance number and expiration date by the Miami -Dade County Product Control Section.
MISSILE IMPACT RATING: Large and Small Missile Impact
Limitations:
1. See Design Pressure capacity Single doors VS glazing types and double doors Vs water ratings in sheet 2.
2. Single or double doors may be mulled with approved clipped mullion or sidelites or transom (under separate
approvals), lower design rating shall apply and such installation to be reviewed & approved by AHJ.
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and series
and following statement: "Miami -Dade County Product Control Approved ", noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been no
change in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change in the
materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement of any
product, for sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA. Failure to comply -
with any section of this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami -Dade County, Florida, and followed by
the expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is displayed, then it shall
be done in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors
and shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.
This NOA revises NOA # 09- 0310.05 and consists of this page 1 and evidence pages E -1, as well as approval
document mentioned above.
