The intermediate rollers on some doors require nine inch shafts because they engage two roller carriers. The top and bottom rollers do not require nine inch shafts because they only engage one bracket, however; a nine inch shaft may be substituted. This substitution would in no way compromise the performance of the door under specified wind load or operating conditions.
