The architect, Robert Law Wedd., designed many important homes in Miami. Shores and a number of significant Dade County structures, and was one of the primary architects for both the first and second phase of development in Miami Shores. The original owner, Warner Ring, was a prominent Miami businessman, attorney and investor. Noteworthy features include keystone door surrounds and the French - inspired rooflines. The structure is in scale and harmony with the surrounding neighborhood.
