Resistance. This value is calculated using statistical analysis based on 95% probability. The test
procedures used in this TAS -105 provides a means of determining whether a particular mechanical
fastener, when used to attach any Roofing Component to a specific substrate, provides sufficient
resistance to static uplift force to meet the wind load requirements for this code for a specific building.

1. PROJECT PROVISIONS
(PROJECT PROVISIONS)

a. Guideline: The project will be constructed in arks cantbnmmus to the plans and specifications. which have been
examined and approved by the Owner.
b. Compliance: The project will be completed in stria compliance with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations of the applicable
goverment authorities.
c. Control: The agreement, plans. and specifications are intended to supplement each other. In cse of conflict, the plans will
control the specifications and the agreement provisions will control lath.
d Change Orders: As directed by the Owner, construetion leader, public body or Inspector, any alteration or deviation (tom to
specifications that involves e:ara cost (subcontract, labor. and materials) will be executed only upon the parties entering iron a
written change order. The owner will pay for expanse incurred bete of unusual or unanticipated conditions.
c. Allowances: If the agreement prtae allowances, and the cast of performing the work is pester or less than this allowance. then the
agreement price will be adjusted accordingly.
14 FINANCIAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a Labor and Material: Contractor will provide and pay for all labor and materials necessary to complete the Pagan. Connector
is released from this obligation for expenses incurred when the Owner is In arrears in making pro1Fess theca.
b. Permits: Contractor will obtain and pay for all required permits and licenses.
c. Taxes, Assessments and Charges: owner will pay Taxes. special assessntents oral! descriptions and charges required by public
bodies and utilities.
d. Bankruptcy: If either party becomes bankrupt, the other party has the right to cancel this agreement.
111. OWNERS RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Canacgatlon: Owner has the unconditional right to cancel the agreement, without penalty or obligation, until midnight of the third
business day after the agreement was signed. Cancellation must be done in writing. Upon cancellation, any property traded in, any
payments grade antler this agreement. and the contractor will' return any negotiable instrument executed within 10 business days
following receipt ofthe cancellation notice.
b. Property fines: Owner shall locate and point ont property lines to the contractor. Contractor may, at his option, require
the Owner to provide a licensed land surveyor's map of the propeny.
e. Lisa+: Failure to pay persons supplying materials or services according to the terms of this agreement may result in the filing of
andante' hens an the effected property. Owner has the right to ask the contractor for lien waivers from all persons supplying
these materials or services. In the event any mechanics lien is filed through no fault of the owner. then the contractor egress to take
all steps necessary for the release and discharge ofsuch lien.
d Insurance: Owner grill maintain property damage insurance at least equal to the Agreement price.
e. Damage to Project: Contractor will not be responsible for any damage caused by tho owner, or other causes beyond rho control of
the contractor, Owner will pay for any restoration work.
IV. CONTRACfoRS RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a Delay: Contractor will be excused for any delay beyond his reasonable control. These delays may include but are not limited to
act of god. labor disputes. inclement weather. acts of public authority, acts of the owner. or other unforeseen
contingencies.
b. Right to Stop Work: Unity payment under this agreement is not made when due. the contractor may suspend work until such
time as all payments due have been mode. Any failure to snake payment is subject to a claim enforced against the property m
accordance with the applicable lien laws.
c. Substitution of materials: Contractor may substitute materials without notice to the owner in order to allow work to proceed.
provldod that the substituted meterials ate of no lesser quality than those listed in the specifications.
d. Salvage: All salvage resulting flan work under this agreement is to be retained by the contractor unless other agreements arc
contained in the written specifications.
e. Insurance: Contractor will maintain workers' disability compensation uhsurance for ha employees and comprehensive public
liability insurance policies.
V. CONIPLBTION OF PROJECT'
a. Notice: Owner agrees to sign a Notice of Completion within five days of completion of the project If the project passes
final inspection and the Owner does not sign the Notice. the contractor may act as the Owners agent and sign the Notice
b. Clean -up: Contractor is responsible for removing debris and surplus naterial from the property, and Leaving the property in a neat
and orderly condition.

VI. CONFLICT RESOLUTION
a. Arbitration: Any controversy or claim arising out of this Agreement that cnnnot be resolved. is subject to arbitration. with an
arbitrator of mutual agreement, and all parties (including Owner, Connector Architect, and Sub enactors) are bound 10 this
arbitration. If any party does not appear at arbitration proceedings, the arbitrator is empowered to decide the controversy in
accordance with whatever evidence is presented by the party(iesl that do patticipatc.
b. Attorney fees: if either party becomes Involved m litigation arising out of this agreement. the court shall award
costs/expanses including attorney fees to the prevailing party
c. Limitations: No action related to this project may be made by either party against the other more than 2 years after completion of
work.
VU. GENERAL PROVISIONS
a. Notice: Any notice required or permitted under this Agreement may be given by certified or registered mail at the addresses
contained in the agreement.
b. Prohibition of Assignment: Neither party may assign this agent or payment due under this agreement without the written
consent of the other party.
c, Qualification: This document constitutes the entire agreement of the panics. No other agreements exist. This agreement can be
modified only by written agreement signed by both parties.
d. Governance: This agreement shall be manned in accordance with and governed by the laws of the state in which the project is
located.
We will use caution during installation and will not be responsible for damages to interior or interior contents.

SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction
materials. The documentation submitted has been reviewed by the BCCO and accepted by the Building Code
and Product Review Committee to be used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the
Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami -Dade County Product Control
Division (In Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right
to have this product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to
perform in the accepted manner, the manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may
immediately revoke, modify, or suspend the use of such product or material within their jurisdiction. BORA
reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined by Miami -Dade County Product Control
Division that this product or material fails to meet the requirements of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building
Code and the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code.

change in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or chaag ®in

LIGHTWEIGHT INSULATING CONCRETE SYSTEM LIMITATIONS:
1. If mechanical attachment to the structural deck through the lightweight insulating concrete is proposed, a field
withdrawal resistance testing shall be performed to determine equivalent or enhanced fastener patterns and density.
All testing and fastening design shall be in compliance with Testing Application Standard TAS 105 and Roofing
Application Standard RAS 117 and/or RAS 137, calculations shall be signed and sealed by a Florida Registered
Engineer, Architect, or Registered Roof Consultant.
2. For steel deck application where specific deck construction is not referenced: The deck shall be a minimum 22
gage attached with 5/8" puddle welds with weld washers at every flute with maximum deck spans of 5 ft. o.c.
3. For Systems where specific lightweight insulating concrete is referenced consult current lightweight insulating
concrete NOA for specific deck construction and limitations. For systems where specific lightweight insulating
concrete is not referenced, the minimum design mix shall be a minimum of 300 psi.
GENERAL LIMITATIONS:
1. Fire classification is not part of this acceptance, refer to a current Approved Roofing Materials Directory for fire
ratings of this product.
2. Insulation may be installed in multiple layers. The first layer shall be attached in compliance with Product Control
Approval guidelines. All other layers shall be adhered in a full mopping of approved asphalt applied within the EVT
range and at a rate of 20-40 lbs.sq., or mechanically attached using the fastening pattern of the top layer
3. All standard panel sizes are acceptable for mechanical attachment. When applied in approved asphalt, panel size
shall be 4' x 4' maximum.
4. An overlay and/or recovery board insulation panel is required on all applications over closed cell foam insulations
when the base sheet is fully mopped. If no recovery board is used the base sheet shall be applied using spot mopping
with approved asphalt, 12" diameter circles, 24" o.c.; or strip mopped 8" ribbons in three rows, one at each side lap
and one down the center of the sheet allowing a continuous area of ventilation. Encircling of the strips is not
acceptable. A 6" break shall be placed every 12' in each ribbon to allow cross ventilation. Asphalt application of
either system shall be at a minimum rate of 12 lbs./sq.
Note: Spot attached systems shall be limited to a maximum design pressure of - psf.
5. Fastener spacing for insulation attachment is based on a Minimum Characteristic Force (F') value of 2751bf., as
tested in compliance with Testing Application Standard TAS 105. If the fastener value, as field- tested, are below
2751bf. insulation attachment shall not be acceptable.
6. Fastener spacing for mechanical attachment of anchor/base sheet or membrane attachment is based on a minimum
fastener resistance value in conjunction with the maximum design value listed within a specific system. Should the
fastener resistance be less than that required, as determined by the Building Official, a revised fastener spacing,
prepared, signed and sealed by a Florida Registered Engineer, Architect, or Registered Roof Consultant maybe
submitted. Said revised fastener spacing shall utilize the withdrawal resistance value taken from Testinilipplicatiog
Standards TAS 105 and calculations in compliance with Roofmg Application Standard RAL1•17Z ••• • • •

PURPOSE
Testing to determine the strength of a deck and the Predicted Design Value for Fastener Pull-Out
Resistance. This value is calculated using statistical analysis based on 95% probability. The test
procedures used in this TAS -105 provides a means of determining whether a particular mechanical
fastener, when used to attach any Roofing Component to a specific substrate, provides sufficient
resistance to static uplift force to meet the wind load requirements for this code for a specific building.
