Mr. Bradford: PHONE PLaza 8 -3011 — PLaza 9 -5123 In connection with our conversation on May 21, 1964, at 565 N E 102 St. This unit was installed with your con- sent and with the promise by me of a letter defining the noise level that we will maintain without being objectional to the neighbor to the west. Knowing that any equipment will have a sound intensity associated with it, I have chosen the standard which the City of Coral Gables has adopted as a basis of agreement for a maximum D B Level. This sound level is 60 DB to be measured at a distance of 15 feet to the west of the unit in question. Measuring device to be adjusted so as to eliminate background sound and just read sound associated with unit while it is in operation. We will make the necessary arrangement on the unit to maintain a sound level as low or lower than described above. If this sound level cannot be maintained we will re- locate this unit. I feel that from my study into the problem of sound that this is a plan that is completely fair to both the neighbors and customer.
