GENERAL: Furnish all labor and materials for all plain and reinforced concrete work
all block work, brick work, Dement floors, tile vents and any and all other required
mammy work to fully complete the building at shown.
Cement shall be Portland cement, conforming to the current standard specifications of
the American Society of Testing Materials.
Band shall be clean, sharp, and free from all foreign matter.
Concrete block shall meet the requirements of the local building code, shall be 801x 1S
and shall bear Underwriters label.

surfaces before any paint is applied. woodwork to be dry and free from dampness during
the entire painting operation. Woodwork to be sanded smooth, all nail holes and cracks
to be puttied full and smooth and putty shall be stained to match the color of any stained
or varnished surfaces. All trim to bo primed before plastering.
PRIMING MW BACKPAINTINP. All woodwork to be painted shall be prised with lead and oil
paint. Exterior wood frames and window bucks shall be given a coat of Creosote on the
back before erection. The bucks of all cabinets to be given a coat of shellac before
fitting.
EXTERIOR 'w *ORKs To have 5 coats of lead and oil paint.
INTERIO WOODWORK* Kitchen and Baths to have 3. coat primer, 1 coat lead and oil, and 1
enamel finish coat in colors selected. Balance of interior woodwork to have 1 coat of
primer, and 2 coate of lead and oil, in color selected.
FLAST t WALL& AND mums) Kitchen and Baths, to have 1 coat siring, 1 coat lead and
oil, and 1 egg shell finish coat. Balance of plaster malls and ceilings to have 2 coats
of Interior Luminol, applied in strict accord with manufacturers directions. All colors
ae selected.
STUCCO* Shall have 2 coats of waterproof paint of the following formulas Nix well 2
bags finish lipase, elected for 24 hours, 6 gallons Sec waterproofing paste, 12 lbs. table
salt, color as selected. Mix ell, add water to make of a creamy thickness, and immediately
before applying to walls, to every 10 qt pail of paint, add 5 lbs. White Portland cement.
Stir well, and keep well stirred while using.
METAL SASH* To have in addition to the Chop priming, 1 coat of aluminum paint, and. 2
coats approved metal ;paint in color selected.
ghAANINOs All surfaces, giese, fixture** etc. shall be thoroughly cleaned as noon as
Painter hae completed hit work.
LI TIRING
GENERAL ; 111 work shall be done in strict accord with all rules and regulations of the
local building code, ell those of the local Power and Light Co. and all those of the
National Board of Fire Underwriters. Contractor shall furnish a certificate of approval
