On June 26th, 1939, I purchased Lot 11 and the West half of Lot 10, Block 91, Miami Shores, for the purpose of building a home in Miami Shores Village and was informed at the Village office that the City Zoning Ordinance required that I build a house containing at least 16,500 cu. ft. including garage and enclosed porches. Immediately, there- after, I started negotiations for financing my home. On July 5th the subdivider of Miami Shores Subdivision approved the plans that I had.3selected. Due to unavoidable delays in securing financing it was September 14th before My plans were presented to the Village Planning Board for approval, whereupon I was informed that during August the City Zoning Ordinance had been increased to such an extent that the plans for my'house would not comply with the new requirements. Due to unavoidable circumstances as stated and as the development in the immediate neighborhood surrounding my property is no better than the house I propose to build, I hereby appeal to the Village Council to grant me a permit to construct my home.
