The eontraotor is to rake the necessary connections for water to be used
in the construction of the building and to pay for all water used.
CLEANING UP
From time to time during the progress of the work,the contractor shall Olean
up and remove from the premises all waste materials and rubbish arising there
from,leaving the premises offooted by this work all broom olean.
CONTRACTOR'S 3UPSRvI3ION
The eontraotor is to give the work his parsonal attention or shall pro+ide
a competent superintendent to remain on the work regularly. The eontraotor is
to vi3it the construction regularly if he puts a superintendent on the fob.

The contraotor shall secure and pay for all permits and privilodges,giving
notices that may be necessary in conneotion with carrying out his contraot,
comply with all oity,county and state ordinances,building laws or other

liability and workmen oompeniation insurances that may be necessary to proteot
the owner to the full extent according to the present laws.

police regulations.

agreed upon or shown shall be made by the contractor unless authorised by the
Architeot in writing and where involving an additional cost to the contractor's

DFFSCTIYS WORK AND GUARANTSS
Any work performed or any materials delivered,not in accordance with
this contract,drawings or spooifications,except it be under orders trim the
Arohtteot,ehall at any time before the final acceptance of the work,or termin-
ation of the work under final guarantee of contract a removed from the premises
at the contractor's expense and shall be replaced with other materials or work
.such as is required by his plans,speoifications or instructions.
The contraotor shall furthermore make good any defects in the work
arising from improper or poor materials or workmanship which may appear within
a period of one year after the completion of his work under the contract as
evidence by issuance of the final certificate thereof.
Neither final payment or retained monies shall become due until the general
oontraotor,if required to do so,ahall delive* to the owner a complete releas
of all liens arising from this contract or receipts in full from all sub-
contractors and material men.

Cement shall be standard Portland Cement. Crushed rook shall be fresh water
washed broken to pass through a 1" ring and retained in a #4 eoreen. Sand shall
be clean and sharp fresh water washed sand.
Conorate shall be mixed in a batch mixer in proporations of,by weight,
one part cement,two and one halt parts sand,three and one half parts rook, mixed
for ar least three minutes or 2500 lb. teat concrete may be used.
Cement morter shall be one part cement,three parts sand and not more
than 10`: lime.
where cement finish is called for it shall be one part cement and two
parts sand.
Where integral coloring is called for same shall be Colorundrum as manuf.
by A.C.Horn Co. according to Manuf. directions.

the sub- floor. All floor joists,sills etc. shall be treated with creosote or
celouresol before being installed in the building.
