2.. For iagroimd installation the spa shall be set is a hydraulically placed sand
bed having a minimum thickness of 4 ". Continuous anchorage of rim shall be
provided by a 3' 0" wide, 4" thick concrete patio, having 8" a 8" deep edges,
reinforced with one #5 bar and 6 a 6 -10/10 WWF. In addition, #2 dowels, at
24" 0.C. shall be used to connect the spa to the concrete.
3. Approved equipment shall include:-
a) 7 amp. air pump
b) 50 gpm cartridge filter
c) 125,000 BTU water heater
d) 1k H.P. motor and pump
e) 2" diameter hydrostatic relief valve
f) Nan -slip steps and /or handrails as may be required for safe entering
into and exiting from the spa.
4. installation shall be by a licensed plumbing contractor.
5. Separate permits shall be secured for all electrical work.
6. Applications for Building Permit must be accompanied by duplicate prints
of the following:
a) Product Approval Drawing No. PC -2
b) Site Adaptation Drawing showing actual field conditions'.
c) Detailed Plot Plans.
7. In order to issue a permit, all zoning regulations must be met.
8. All twits must be permanently marked with the Manufacturer's insignia and
model designation.
