the construction of various parts. Also a pair of PLIERS is useful in tightening bolts and nuts. A MEASURING TAPE and a
LEVEL should be used in setting up the foundation frame.(SEE preparation of building site PAGE 3 and assembly STEP 1.)
2. The parts catalog illustrates each type of part in a pictorial diagram. The parts check list shows
the quantity required and part number. Part numbers are generally affixed to each part by a small
printed number ... but if missing, the part can be readily identified from the illustration.
3. CHECK THAT YOU HAVE ALL PARTS! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ASSEMBLE YOUR BUILDING IF PARTS ARE MISSING!
4. For replacement or missing parts, or any questions concerning your storage building, refer directly to the factory. DO
NOT contact your dealer, he is not equipped to service your requests as promptly as the Customer Service Department
at our factory.
CONTACT: ARROW GROUP INDUSTRIES, CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT, ROUTE 50 EAST,
BREESE, ILLINOIS 62230 (800 -851 -1085) or (800- 642 -2256 ILLINOIS ONLY).
cautions ' Some parts may contain sharp edges, CARE must be taken when handling the various pieces to avoid a mishap.
• For safety sake, PLEASE use a pair of work gloves when assembling or performing any maintenance on the building.
Do Not attempt to assemble the building on a windy day, because the large panels ... acting as a "sail" .. can be whipped about
by wind and make the construction difficult. Do Not attempt to assemble the building if parts are missing because any building left
partially assembled may be seriously damaged by heavy winds. To prevent damage to the roof section, DO NOT allow more than 10"
of snow to accumulate on the roof. Under such conditions, occupancy is HAZARDOUS and must be avoided!
maintenance suggestions • Your storage building has been engineered to give you long, carefree
service. All panels have been weather protected with an undercoating
of zinc plating and sealed with a tough, durable PERMA — PLATE ®finish.Lrl' )However, a little basic maintenance will
help prolong the appearance and usefulness of the building for added years.
1. When fully assembled, clean and wax the exterior surfaces. Do this periodically.
2. Periodic door adjustments may be necessary after prolonged use. Two simple screw adjustments accomplish this, as described
in the last door assembly seep. The door slides and track should be kept free of obstructions, and lubricated occasionally for
smooth operation,
3. The roof gutter areas should be kept clear of accumulating leaves and twigs to permit the roof to drain properly, To prevent
damage to the roof section, DO NOT allow more than 10" of snow to accumulate on the roof. Under such conditions, occupancy
is HAZARDOUS and must be avoided!
4. 11 you DO NOT use a concrete base and there is to be heavy traffic from garden vehicles over the FRONT FLOOR FRAME at the
door opening, it is recommended that a small concrete apron he poured under the frame, or patio blocks be used to support the
frame.
5. If location of building is subjected to HIGH WINDS it is recommended that DOORS are kept securely CI OSED when not in use.
6. If you wish to repaint your budding in later years, sand the surfaces lightly to remove old wax and make a smooth bonding surface.
Purchase a good grade metal primer and surface paint, and follow the paint manufacturer's directions for a lasting job.

ANCHORING YOUR BUILDING:
Contains: 4 Anchors with

Installation Instructions
For the most economical base for your building, use patio
blocks, at least enough to cover the storage building area. Set the
blocks as level as possible in a footing of sand.
Prepare and level your building site. Construct a level base to
dimensions shown. This will provide an apron about 2" wide all
around your building.

AND INTO THE GROUND
If your building is to be constructed on sand, gravel or lawn, the area must
be firm, level and permit water drainage away from the building site. If you
do not.use one of the above bases and there is to be heavy traffic from
garden vehicles over the ramp at the door opening, it is recommended that
a small concrete apron be poured under the ramp, or patio blocks be used
to support the ramp.
It is important that. the entire floor frame be anchored after the building is erected. Below are recommended ways of
anchoring, using the base of your choice. There are 1/4" dia. holes provided in the frames for this purpose. Thirteen
anchor screws will be required, including three in the ramp.

Your storage building must be anchored to prevent wind damage. We recommend the combined use of floor frame anchoring
and a AK4 —H Anchoring Kit as an effective method of securing the building to the ground. An Anchor Kit is available at
your retail store or it may be ordered directly from the factory. The address can be found on Page 1.
