A variance building permit is requested to permit the building of a single story garage as shown on the attached sketch. The existing garage does not comply with the present restrictions in that it is not set in 5 feet from the alley property line, To construct the proposed building out of line with the existing building is not only impractical but would present an unsightly appearance. An architect will be employed to design the building and supervise the construction thereof and materials and workmanship will be in keeping with residential structure.
