WHEREAS, on December 29, 1997, the Historic Preservation Board, after considering the criteria for designation of historic landmarks found in section 11 1/2 -3 of the Miami Shores Village Code, passed a motion, under section 11 1/2- 5(b)(4), to recommend to the Village Council that the property at 83 N.E. 100 Street be designated as an historic landmark; and WHEREAS, the owners of the property, Ines Hegedus - Garcia and Enrique J. Garcia, initiated the nomination, and have consented thereto, by the execution of an Historical Landmark Covenant to run with the land; and WHEREAS, the structure on the subject property was constructed in 1925 by Tropical Home Designs as residence #200 during the initial development of Miami Shores by the Shoreland Company; and WHEREAS, the residence was first owned by A. P.
