The above referenced residence had its central A/C system's electrical connections
inspected on July 14, 1993. The following violation was noted:
The minimum supply circuit for the condensing unit is 23.8 AMPS and #12 THHN
copper conductors were used. My interpretation of table 310 -16, of the 1990
National Electric Code is that #12 copper conductors are rated at 20 Amperes.
The 25 Ampere rating listed in the column is for de- rating purposes only.
