Same in bath room. 9, Closet to have four shelves across the back wall,of 7/8" X 12" pine, and 1" X 6" pine hook strip on each side wall. 10, Garage door shall be 8' wide by 7'6" high,with glass light in center to conform to pattern of present door,and constructed in the same manner. It shall be fitted with a Stanley balanced door opening mechanism Dame as present door. 11, Outside trim at cornice shall be of cyprese,and present cornice shall be dead ended against masonary wall. Article 10, Roofing ; Section 1,Cover all new roof surfacee and tie in with existing roof with thirty pound felt,laid according to manufacturers specifications with four inch lap, tin capping the entire surface at twelve inch centers.Over this lay ninety pound slate surface roofing mopped solid with four inch laps. sixteen ounce 2, Furnish all copper eave strips,flaehinge etc. of tktxty past copper. Article 11, Lathing Section 1, All lath shall be "ROCKLath" 3/8" thick gypsum,in panels of 16" X 48 ". 2, All lath shall be nailed on five inch centers along'edgee,with -all joints staggered, and with a minimum bearing of 5/8" on all studs,joiets and furring. Article 13, Stucco Section 1, All outside surfaces of walls shall receive two caato of stucco. First a scratch coat,and after at least one day,a finish coat. 2, All surfaces must be thoroly wetted down before appng st *cco. 3, The first coat shall be composed of one part Portly d cement,and three parts clean sharp aand,and one quarter part lime putty.This shall be well rodded and brought to a true surface ready for the finish coat. 4, The finish coat shall be composed of one part Portland cement,and three parts clean sharp sand,and shall be mixed withan integral waterproofing according to the munufacturere specifications. This shall be brought to a true and even surface and floated with a cork float. Care should be taken to float out all shrinkage cracks blisters and other imperfections. 5, Stucco shall be finished to the under side of the tile roof. Metal lath to be used where wood timbers are exposed near roof line, and between rafters that project beyond wills. Article 14, Tile . Section 1, All floor tile shall be laid on a three inch concrete slab with in mortar. 2, Side wall tile shall be set in r mortar on scratch coat on metal lath. 3,Size and color of tile to be selected by owner. 4,A11 joints shall be true and straight with tile evenly laid.Uae no chipped tile 5, All window stools shall have tile with proper edging. 6, Bath floor shall be of plain white hexagon tile with no pattern. 7, Side wall tile shall be white with colored 6" x 6" flush cove base and 2" cap,4" x 4" tile,and shall be approximately four feet high. 8, Ceramic fittings to be installed shall include towel bars,soap dishes, soap and grab,paper holder,tooth brush and glass holder. Article 15, Windows Section 1, All windows are to be set in precast concrete frames,provided with brass lined grooves for Venetian blinds. They are to be made to conform with the steel sash removed from existing building. Frames to be.LIVESAY. 2, Window sash in garage and bedroom shall be thooe 3' X 4' LE4CO steel sash removed from present building. 3, Sash in bathroom shall be 1' -6" by 2' - aluminum type as selected. 4, Two sash in present bedrocm adjoining the new bedroom will be reduced in width,and provided with a mullion and anchors against which a new jamb shall be formed and cast of concrete,with the window sash in place. 5, All sash shall be properly sot in concrete frames with mastic and secured in place. 6, Windows already glazed will be set with glass in then. Article 16, Floors and plates. • Section 1, Floor in bedroom shall be finished with #1 select,3 /4" X 3" clear red oak. Flooring shall be securely nailed and pulled snug but not forced. It shall be sanded smooth,cleaned,shellacked and waxed. Article 17, Plumbing. Section 1, Furrich and install all plumbing fixtures as indicated and selected. 1- Five foot recess tub, 1- F115 ST lavatory with legs and towel bars, 1- F2100 water closet. 2, Furnish and install all necessary connections and piping of cast iron to properly connect the above fixtures with septic tank now in place. Piping shall be equipped with cleanouts where necessary. Install proper vent through roof. 3, All hot and cold water piping shall be at least " inside diameter copper pipe with sweated fittings,and shall be connected into present piping. 4, No shower to be provided in tub. Tumblers to be arranged to fit the master keys of the present locks. 2, All locks shall be brass and chromium plated. Article 20, Building connections. Section 1, Where new walls, foundations and tie beama,join or connect to existing building,the existing work shall be out out sufficiently to provide for proper and safe, bonding, keying, or otherwise uniting the new work with the old.
