permit plans represent the as-built condition of the structure and that those inspections which
are required to be performed by the Building Official for the work involved have been
performed in accordance with Section 305.2 of this code.
This document is being prepared in accordance with Section 307.2 of the South Florida
Building Code and is being submitted to the City of Miami Beach Building Department at
the time of the final inspection for the above referenced structure.

The "General Conditions of the Oontraet"
(Standard Form of the American Institute
of Architects) shall be considered a part of this specification
and shall become a part of the contract.
Bach Contractor shall compute in his estimate
and properly pay and discharge any obligation due the State of
Florida under the provisions of Chapter 15,787, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1931 known as the Documentary Stamp Tax Act.
Each Contractor shall compute in his esti-
mate and properly pay and discharge any obligation due the United
States of America or the State of Florida under the provisions
of the Federal Social Security Act (R.R. 7260) enacted by the
74th Congress,
Each Contractor or Sub- Contractor or Supply
Dealer shall compute in their cost and properly pay and discharge
any obligation due the State of Florida under the provisions of
Chapter 16,848, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1935, known as the
"Retail Sales Act ", or "Chain Store Act."

such insurance as will protect
him from claims under workmen's compensation acts and from any

CLEANING UP: The Contractor shall at all times keep the building
and premises reasonably free of rubbish, scaffold-
ing, etc. Upon completion of the work he shall remove all rubbish
and scaffolding, sweep all wood floors, clean and cover *hem with
building paper, wash all tile and cement floors; clean all spots
off the plaster and other finished work; clean all glass in doors,
and windows, perfectly clean - inside and out; and wash all
plumbing fixtures.

PAINTING
Paint all windows and other metal two coats of metallic
paint.
Paint all exterior woodwork two coats of lead and oil.
Walls and woodwork throughout to be sized, primed and pain-
ted two coats lead and oil. Put enamel in the last coat of all
work in pathrooma and Kitchen.
Woodwork in closets to be primed and painted two coats lead
and oil.
Oak floors finished with a coat of paste filler wiped off
across the grain and then two coats of wax, each coat polished
with a heavy brush.
Exterior stucco to be painted 2 coats of lime wash, with
Crystex waterproofing in last coat, according to manufacturer's
directions.
ELECTRICAL ti, ORK
Wiring to be in oonduit of dimensions to comply with the
City and National Codes. Not over three bands in each one run.
Conduit to be continuous from outlet. No trap in conduit unless
wire to be lead sheathed. Wire no smaller than #14 B B gauge.
Receptacles, duplex, set 18" from floor. Switches, toggle type
with Bakelite Plate 48" from floor, except in Bathroom - 52 ".

This Contractor shall take out and pay for all permits and
'fees and install the entire job complete, including labor and
materials, excavation anu refilling, bringing water in from the
street, piping and fixtures, hose cocks, pool supply, drain and
overflow, septic tank, etc. Al]. work shall conform to the local
Building Code and must be approved by the Building Inspector.
Provide Solar Heater and Tank and connect to hot water
system.

Cover all roofing surfaces with 41b'. slate coated felt
spot - mopped to sheathing, lapped 2" and mopped on the laps,
Apply extra layers in valleys, over ridges and under f lashings.

4" along each edge with an extra layer of felt mApped to copper,

MASONRY
Clear the building site of dirt and plant life. Clean
the footing trenches down to rock, or as shown on plans.
Footings, lintels, mortar, walls, etc. as required by
Building Department.
Fill for cement, tile or brick floors to be coral rock
surfaced with crushed coral rock paddled and tamped except
where otherwise shown.
Cement floors and driveways 1 -2 -4 concrete 3" thick with
top dressing troweled smooth and checkered where shown.
Dement flagging, 1 -2-4 concrete 2" thick.
Fireplace linings, fire brick.
Flue linings, fire clay tile.
Caulk all openings with an approved elastic compound.
Stucco on concrete blocks, two coats. First coat 1 part
cement, 2i parts sand. Second coat same, waterproofed with
Orystez and applied with a texture as directed, Wet the blocks
before stuccoing.
Plaster shall be applied on all walls and ceilings except
where otherwise shown or noted. Two coat work in kitchens
and bathrooms, with hard white finish. Two coat work in all
other rooms which shall be textured to suit owner. Texture
as per sample selected by Owner.
Plaster behind tile shall be cement on galvanized wire
