SEALANTS: A urethane sealant is used for the perimeter seals.
An acrylic small joint sealant is used for the frame and glazing seals.
WEATHERSTRIP: A slide -in, bulb - shaped thermoplastic.
HARDWARE: One roto operator operating the six ventilators i� located at
the bottom of the right jamb (as viewed from the exterior). The operator

The unit shall be in substantial conformance with drawing titled "Awning
Type Window Series 7000" revised 7 -16 -91 and stamped by CRL and with the
following additions:
"The window corners are continuously bedded in sealant which joined witl
the frame weatherstrip and the perimeter sealant.
The frame screw penetrations are all sealed.
The roto operator and the operator closure plate is continuously bedded
in sealant and the screws are sealed.
The sill weatherstrip crimping is sealed at the interior.

NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE: STANDARD CONDITIONS FOR GLAZED PRODUCTS
For multiple window installations, approved mullion drawings and calculations must be
filed with Product Control.
2. This acceptance will qualify smaller units of the same design and materials as the
unit tested.
3. All units must be labeled. giving the manufacturer's name. Dade County Product
Control Approval Number. approved elevation and date of expiration.
4. Extension of Acceptance may be considered after a new application has been filed
and the supporting data, for test reports less than four (4) years old, has . been re-
evaluated.
5. Any revision or change in materials, use or manufacture of the product shall
automatically be cause for termination, unless prior approval is granted for revision
or change.
6. Any unsatisfactory performance of this product or a change in Code provisions shall
be grounds for re- evaluation.
7. This acceptance shall not be used as an endorsement of any product sales or
advertising purposes.
8. Windows and sliding doors have been tested in accordance with the American
National Standards Institute's specifications and the Architectural Aluminum
Manufacturer's Association Standards ANSI -AAMA 101 -86 or for wood units
ANSI /AAMA 302 and 402 and for vinyl units ASTM D- 4099 -82.
9. Swinging doors shall be tested for positive and negative wind pressures as per
Chapter 23 of the South Florida Building Code.
10. Hardware for all windows and doors shall conform to Intrusion and Burglary Security
Chapter 8C of the Code of Metropolitan Dade County. •
11. The spacing of fasteners shall be as tested or 24" whichever is less.
R The first fastener shall be located a maximum of 6" from each corner and mullion
or stile. Minimum penetration of fastener shall be as tested or 3/4" whichever is
higher. No wood or plastic shields or pins shall be used.
Unless otherwisd, noted in the test report, minimum size of screws shall be No. 8
for first and second floor installations and No. 10 for all other floors above the
first and second floors.
