There appears to be little or no commitment from Florida Professional Services to complete this project. I am concerned that I am simply being "strung along" and it would be irresponsible for me to stand by and do nothing. It has been a great nuisance for my family to have the yard a mess, trash everywhere, and stagnant water in the bottom of the pool shell for the past 5 months. When we signed the pool contract we were told that it would take 8 weeks to complete the construction once the permit was issued. The permit was issued on 1/23/06. It has been 5 months and the pool is still incomplete. After numerous phone calls and a personal visit to your home, I was told the pool would be complete by the end of May. When I ask for a completion schedule, I receive no commitment. I call and leave messages with the James, the Project Manager, and rarely receive a return call. I spoke with you on 6/7 to discuss this project. Some trash was removed and grading performed with no significant progress. Again, I cannot continue to stand by and do nothing. I have paid quickly in accordance with the payment schedule. I released 75% of the draw for the equipment when James asked, even though the equipment installation is still incomplete. Lastly, the limerock base for the driveway is not acceptable. The finish grade is not acceptable. The thickness is deficient and a large portion of the material is not limerock. I released 50% of the payment for the lime rock base on 5/12. I showed the work to James and I have repeatedly asked when he will correct the work so I can proceed with paving. I have received no response. In conclusion, I will require the following. 1. The pool construction must be completed within 2 weeks from the date of this letter. Work remaining includes complete equipment installation and startup, install diamond -brite finish, finish grading, remove sand in front yard, dispose trash and clean site. 44i/ 2. The driveway must be completed within 2 weeks. Work remaining includes removing all unsuitable material and cutting down 6 inches minimum. Replace with suitable limerock material and compact with mechanical tamp. Finish grade shall have a crown for drainage o j and be 1 inch below adjacent road and curb to allow for 1 inch asphalt.
