In all fairness, I would have to say at the beginning that I have no knowledge of the condition of your house prior to the pressure cleaning. The term pressure cleaning having the acceptable meaning of cleaning with water under pressure for the preparation of a surface for painting. This process would include the removal of loose paint, dirt, fungas and other foreign matter. During the process of pressure cleaning your roof'fragments of paint were peeled off. This indicates to me that the paint presently on your roof has lost it's ability to adhere to the roofing tile surface and would have peeled off regardless of who did the cleaning. The only question would be the amount that would peel which would be in proportion to the pressure. The greater the pressure, the greater the peeling and the better prepaired the surface is for a new paint job. The damaged wall paper in your entire foyer and the screening that you said was damaged could possibly have been caused by the cleaning process but once again I must say that I could not testify that the damage was caused by cleaning because of previous lack of knowledge. It would appear to me that the merit of your complaint regarding the pre- ssure cleaning of your house would depend upon your agreements written or verbal as to what was to be done and would become a civil matter between you and Salomone Inc. As to the quality of your cleaning job I would have to say that since the loose paint on your roof was removed that this phase would be satisfactory. The chalking on the walls exist in spots which should have been removed, but could be controlled with a sealer applied prior to painting which would be an acceptable method of preporation.
