Pre - assembled cap nails may only be used for termination of fully bonded surfaces such as mechanical termination at wood blocking, head and side laps, and base flashing terminations. Cap nails shall not be used for the mechanical attachment of a base sheet. Tin caps are required by the South Florida Building Code. • 18. The submission of system specifications and details shall accompany the Section 11 Building Code Permit. This information is available in the publications listed in the 'System Description' of this Product Control Approval. The submission of these documents, as well as the proper application and installation of all materials shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor.' '• 19.
