NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE: SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
1.0 DESCRIPTION. PROPERTIES AND /OR PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS:
This approval refers to steel frames designed to support fabric awnings.
1.1 PRODUCT AS SHOWN ON DRAWING # 95 -205 Sheets 1 and 2.
INSTALLATION:
The approved fabric awning models are designed to cantilever from existing structures,
partially supported on existing structures or self supporting.
3. LIMITATIONS:
The fabric awnings shall comply with Subsections 4304.1 and 4304.2 of the South
Florida Building Code. The maximum average height of the fabric awning and canopies
shall not exceed 15 ft.
4. IDENTIFICATION & MARKINGS:
These structures shall be identified with a permanent attached metallic label stating the
manufacturer's name, city, state, and "Dade County Product Control Approved ". A notice
shall also be included in the label stating that the fabric shall be removed when wind
velocity is expected to exceed 75 miles per hour.
5. CONDITIONS OF USE:
The design of the structural elements shall be based on the schedules detailed in the
approved drawings.

the supporting data, test report no older than ten (10) years, have been re- evaluated.
All reports of re- testing shall bear the seal, signature and dater fan engineer registered in

shall automatically be cause for termination, unless prior approval is granted for
revisions or change.
