ILE - roofs shall be red clay shingle tile as approved by Owner, aid in cement in proper manner. Tile shall be thoroughly soaked in water before laying. Roofing felt shall be two 30# felts, with first layer tin capped, and second layer mopped on and sanded. 2. FLAT ROOFS - at cricket and over breakfast alcove slab, shall be ten year felt and gravel roofs. 3. FLASHING - shall be copper, including save drips, and gravel stop at reakfast alcove slab, all properly installed. Flashing at chimney and roof intersections shall be set in at least 4" behind face of slumped brick. 4. l OIS,— roof and flashing shall be copper as detailed. Copper shall be sweated tight around wrot iron finial. 1. kLTS - shall be Rocklath. Metal lath shall be #24 ga. lapped 2" eaa way at all interseetions. HARDWARE ROMPING LATH, PLASTER AND STUCCO 2, shall be two coat work. Scratch coat on Rooklath shal one part sand one part fibred gypsum plaster. Finish *oat on all walls shall be gypsum plaster, hydrated lime on screened brown plaster, textured as directed by Owner. Kitchen walls and bath rooms shall be smooth, hard trowel finish. Color shall be added to plaster for rooms specified unpainted. 3. # PLASTER - shall be three coat work, and allowing at least 4 days drying between eaoh coat. Wet down each coat before applying'succeeding coat. Cement plaster on metal lath shall be installed both sides of stud partitions in laundry, toilet, and tool rooms. 4. STUCCQ - shall be two coat work, with textured finish coat, waterproofed with 10% lime. Wet down all blockwork before apply- ing stucco, also stucco between coats. GLAZING 1. GLASS - shall be "B" quality clear double strength, for all 4 doors and windows. POINTING 1, MATERIALS - all paint shall be ready mixed and shall be approved by Owner as to quality, oolors and finish. X, MI - All exterior and interior woodwork shall be painted as direoted by Owner. Interior woodwork, in addition to priming eoat shall receive one coat of eggshell gloss. Exterior painted woodwork shall be primed and then receive two coats lead and oil, colors as selected by Owner. Paint steel sash with approved steel sash paint and do all caulking. 3', 8'JOCO AND CEMENT PIASTER - shall be given two coats Somay Deecrattive Waterproofing applied according to manufaoturer's di- rections and of color selected by Owner. Walls shall be thoroughly wet down before painting. 4. PWASTER - No painting shall be done on any plastered walls or ceilings, except in kitchen, breakfast alcove and bathrooms. 8urfaees to be painted shall be thoroughly dry before applying one sizing coat of Benj. Moore's Impervo Surfacer. They shall then receive one coat flat oil, and one coat eggshell gloss enamel. 5. CLEANING UP - Painters shall thoroughly clean up after their work is completed, including cleaning of all hardware and glass. PLUMBING 1. SCOPE + The work under this section shall include the oom- plete installation of the plumbing system, including the septic tank connection, water supply lines and plumbing fixtures. This Contractor shall pay all connection fees required for plumbing work. The plumbing system must comply with all ordinances and regulations governing same. 8,. EXCAVATION - This Contractor shall do all excavating required by this contract, including all neoessary back filling after his work has been tested, inspected and approved. 3. This Contractor shall furnish, install and connect up, one 30 gal. table top model automatic electric hot water heater, in location shown in kitchen. Eleotrio Contractor will make the eleetrio connections to same, also to sink unit. Sink unit will be furnished by Owner, and installed and oonneoted up oamplete by the Plumbing Contraotor. Furnish and install hot and oold water piping and taujets to Laundry -Neat washer in laundry room. 5. gQIL AND WASTE LINES - shall be oast iron, or galv., -of sizes noted or as required by code. Vents shall be packed with oakum and run with molten lead and properly calked. Provide all neces- sary oleanouts outside of building; as required by code and in- speetion authorities. Soil lines shall be run to septio tank and dry well as shown. 6, DRY WILL - shall be of size and looation shown, back filled with large loose rock, grading up to smaller rook and sand and earth at top. 7. TESTS All piping shall be properly tested, inspected and approved before being olosed in. 10. GUARANTEE - Plumbing Contractor shall guarantee his work for one year from date of acceptance. ELECTRIC WIRING 1. MATERIALS - 111 wiring shall be in conformity with the regu- lation of the National Board of Fire Underwriters and comply with *11 local ordinanoes and regulations. E. Telephone Co. will install their own wiring. 9. WATER HEATER - in kitchen will be furnished by the Plumbing Contractor, but wiring to same shall be provided and oonnected up complete by this Contractor. 10. 8I1IK UNIT - will be furnished by Owner, but wiring to same shall be provided and oonnected up complete by this Contractor. } 11. FLOODLIGHT OUTLET - shall be installed complete with oon- duit, wiring, and switch for same, all in locations shown. Outlet shall be on exterior wall, under save soffit. 12. ATTIC FAN - Furnish, install, and oonneot up complete, one 36" horizontal attic fan, in cupola over B.R. #3. Switch for same, with pilot light, shall be located in hall where shown. Fan shall be mounted on springs, and securely anohored in place. 13. DOOR CHIME - Furnish and install in niche in living room, one 3 tube door ohime, oomplete with transformer, also one Inoall buzzer, located in soffit of furred space over carport door in kitchen. Furnish and install also, push buttons at front door to living room, and carport door to kitohen, wired and conneoted up to ohime and buzzer. 14. TESTS - All wiring and conduit shall be tested and inspected and approved before being closed in. 15. GUARANTEE - The Electric Contractor shai guarantee his work for one year from date of acceptance,
