SUBJECT: 112 N. E. 98 Street (Canvas Carport)
A site inspection was made of the subject property. The canvas carport in
question is located in the southwest corner of the back yard. The carport is
4 aning and the canvas cover is torn. This is considered to be an accessory
structure and is not in compliance with the set back requirements for
a�cessory buildings as per Article IV Zoning Ordinance No. 270. The Article
requires the structure must be five (5) feet from the rear property line and
ti (10) feet from the side property line.
If the property owner were to attempt to relocate the canvas carport it would
have to meet the current building code. This would require the owner would
Need engineer drawings from the manufacturer and the Dade County Product
A pproval.
