MCWC made recommendations of corrections as needed. The following are MCWC's observations and recommendations. For inspected areas location, refer to photographs no. 1 and no. 02. Stone was installed over mortar bed. The dimensions of the masonry wall and stone were verified as per drawings and specifications for proper tapcon embedment. Tapcons (countersunk) were installed as per drawings and specifications. Stones were predrilled for new tapcons. Embedment dimension was verified to be as per specifications. Stones perforations was filled with caulking. Anchors was inserted into oppenings. Distance between fasteners was verified as per engineers specification. Refer to photographs no. 03 through no. 06. Angles inspected were as per approved drawings, edge distance and spacing for tapcons (as per structural calculation specs). Refer to photograph no. 11. MCWC made recommendations of corrections needed. The following are MCWC's observations and recommendations. For inspected areas location, refer to photographs no. 01 and no. 02. MCWC verified that the elastomeric waterproofing membrane, Tremproof 250 GC by Tremco, was applied with a broadcast of sand to create a profile. Refer to photographs no. 03 through no. 05. Thin -set was applied over waterproofing membrane. Refer to photographs 06 through no. 09. Stone was installed over mortar bed. MCWC made recommendations of corrections as needed. The following are MCWC's observations and recommendations. For location of areas inspected, refer to photographs no. 1 and no. 02. For deeper stones (3" ), longer tapcons were utilized in order to obtain minimun embedment indicated in drawings. Refer to photograph no. 05. The sub - contractor in charge is Custom Firebox Design, Inc. This inspection is in accordance with the drawings approved by the City Department on 9/4/2008. MCWC made recommendations of corrections as needed. The following are MCWC's observations and recommendations. For location refer to photographs no. 01 and no. 02. MCWC verified that the elastomeric waterproofing membrane, Tremproof 250 GC by Tremco, was applied with a broadcast of sand to create a profile. Refer to photographs no. 3 through no. 06. Thin -set was applied over waterproofing membrane. Refer to SK -1 drawing attached for location of area inspected. Steel angles dimensions were verified. Angles were installed as per drawings. Refer to photographs no. 07 through no. 12. During the walkthrough today, we noticed a series of holes found along the concrete block wall. These areas have been previously waterproofed and is in the process of receiving a stone cladding system. MCWC highly recommends that these voids opening be cleaned (remove waterproofed membrane) and filled with a polymer modified patching material such as Euclid Chemical's Verticoat. Refer to photographs no. 13 through no. 16. The dimensions of the masonry wall and stone were verified as per drawings and specifications for proper tapcon embedment. Refer to photographs no. 017 through no. 19. Tapcons (countersunk) were installed as per drawings and specifications. Refer to photographs no. 20 through no. 22. Stones were predrilled for new tapcons. Embedment dimension was verified to be as per specifications. Stones perforations was filled with caulking. Anchors__ was inserted into oppenings. The sub - contractor in charge is Custom Firebox Design, Inc. This inspection is in accordance with the drawings approved by the City Department on 9/4/2008. MCWC made recommendations of corrections as needed. The following are MCWC's observations and recommendations. For inspected areas location, refer tp photographs no. 01 and no. 02. MCWC verified that the elastomeric waterproofing membrane, Tremproof 250 GC by Tremco, was applied with a broadcast of sand to create a profile. Refer to photographs no. 03 and no. 04. Thin -set was applied over waterproofing membrane. Refer to photographs no. 05 through no. 07. Stone was installed over mortar bed. Refer to photographs no. 08 and no. 09. The dimensions of the masonry wall and stone were verified as per drawings and specifications for proper tapcon embedment. Refer to photograph no. 10. Tapcons in this area not installed at this time. Installation will not be considered approved until final inspection has been performed.
