2. Record Inside and outside design temperatures; find temp difference.
3. Measure length of each outside well, multiply each by ceiling height. Record the total sq. ft. of
exposed wall undo; "gross wen". •
4. Using Tables A and 8, determine the total ants for windows Et doors Et enter in common data
'section.
5. Determine Net Wan by subtracting windows and doors from gross.
8. Measure B record total ceiling area.
7. Measure end record total floor area for floors over crawl apace or basement. Total floor edge
length (perimeter) it floor Ise slab.
8. Using Tbble E select construction type and use the corresponding heat end cool factors on the
form.
9. Determine BTUH Loss B Gain In Tables A and 8 by multiplying the area of gtass and doors by
the multiplier under the specified temperature difference. Enter total BTUH Loss /Gain on
worksheet.
10. On worksheet, multiply the areas x the factors and total as Instructed.
