above address since 1935.
Unfortunately, my 35 year old husband and 1 can no longer
maintain our beautiful home as she needs to be cared for and have
sold our home to ti:ve closer to our children.
Wo are scheduled to cic =:ate today. Just! yesterday after 5 :00 pm,
were were notified that a utility shed, which my husband built on
over thirty years ado, on the west 5,ide of our garage encroaches
on the required 1t1' set back:.
The buyers are requiring that 1 obtain a letter from your office
stating that the Village of Miami Shores has no objection to the
current location of the wooden utility shed despite the technical
violation of the 10' setback. It has been explained to them that
should it be torn down or came dawn, for any reason, it could not
be reconstructed.
If such a 1etter is pc'ssible, it would be greatly appreciat ed as
we would like to get on with what is left of the rest of our
lives.

Please be advised that the wooden utility shed on the side
of your garage is non - conforming because it is of wood
construction and encroaches on the side setback. Due to
the fact that this structure has been in place for thirty
years, it may stay in place. If, however any changes are
made or this structure deteriorates, it will have to be
removed and cannot be replaced.
