No fishmouths or voids. • Roof tile to be Hanson Regal with polyfoam attachment of 3" wide by 10" long foam pattys. • Tile head lap of 3" and eave overhang of 1 -1/2 ". • Metal eave closure on tile roof system attached with 1 -1/4" ring shank nails. The tiles, Hanson Regal, had been installed using the "Foam Application" method. The uplift tests consisted of placing a load test device manufactured by CHATILLON (Model DFIS), over the tile with an adjustable connector placed under the front lip of the tile, and gradually increasing the pressure. The gauge readings are indicated in pounds. Pressure was exerted on the tile until a reading of thirty five (35) pounds or 80 % NOA was obtained. The roof passed in accordance with Dade County Protocol TAS -106. IRT- ARCON's responsibility on this project was specifically on uplift testing to a specific force of thirty five (35) pounds or 80 % NOA in accordance with Dade County Protocol, TAS -106.
