For single member girder, nails should be clinched. Attach truss to hanger with 3 -1G3 nails, clinched. FASTEN GIRDERS AND SCABS TO(ETFiER AS FOLLOWS: Bottom Chords: Nails for the VIKING HANGER are sufficient.to fasten first .enter to second. Third member shall be attached to second with the following number of nails for each supported truss: 2 -16d nails for trusses up to 16' span, 4 -16d to 32', and 6 -16d to 40'. For four or more members use (1) -4" thru -bolt for truss spans up to 32' and (2)- -" thri- bolts to 40'. Bolts require washers both ends.
