roofing felt down center of valley areas. Secure felt
at edges using lin•tags or rap nails max. 24" O,C,
3. Cover roof deck with min. type 43 asphalt coated
roofing felt. Secure using tin.tegs or cap nails

4. Seal along top edge of felt covering all nail gene•
tratinns with plastic roof cement or approved

roof deck over min. type 43 felt. Wait 6" O.C.
lapping joints min, 4" and apply plastic roof
cement between laps. Secure wall flange as
necessary to sattaf' job conditions. Seal along
metal edges of deck flange, covering all nail
penetration& with plastic roof cement and
membrane. (Lead counter flashing may be
dressed down onto tile min. 4" at wall apron in
addition to type flashing.)

turbines, vents, eta. prior to nailing end waling

nails, rover all nail penetrations with plastic

1. Over roof deck with thin. type 30 saturated
roofing felt. Secure using tin-tags or cap nail
max, 12" O.C. in field and along headlapc (Icier
codes prevail).

valley areas.
3. Nail or staple drip edge metal directly on top r
type 30 felt. Patten max. 6" n.C, within 1/2" of
inside edge. Continue up Gable ends lapping
joints min, 3 ",
4, Install atendard roll flushing min. 16" wide new
center of valley areas. Nail within 1" of metal
edges max. 6" O.C. lap Joints min. 6" and ester
beyond fascia as required.
5 Install '1' type metal flush to hale of walls and
roof deck over type 30 felt. Nail 6' 0.C. Inppic
joints min. 4" And apply plastic roof cement
between laps. Seal along top edge of vertical
flange, covering_ all nail penetratinns with hair
roof cement and membrane. (flashing at apt r:

6. Apply plastic roof cement Around base of piper
turbines, vents, etc. prior to nailing and scaling
