MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS 2.1 The storm panels shall be constructed as indicated on approved Drawing No. 94 -51, Sheets 1, 2, 3 and 4 of 4, using extruded aluminum alloy 6063 -T6, with a typical wall thickness of .068 ". 2.2 Panel consist of a single extrusion having an effective width of 6.250" and a total width of 7.684" and forming 2" deep ribs. 2.3 Components shall be aluminum alloys 6063 -T6, "h" header, "u" header, 5 x 2 x .125" angle, 2 x 2 x .125" angle. 2.4 Tested specimen Dimensions: 39" x 96.5 ", 40" x 97 ", 50" x 131 ", 39 -3/8" x 108 ", and 97" x 170 ". 3. LIMITATIONS 3.1 The design will be dependent on the maximum panel height of 12' -0l" or 145 ".
