These documents shall hereinafter be referred to as the approved drawings. 3. LIMITATIONS 3.1 Units with dimensions equal to or smaller than those shown on the approved drawings shall qualify under this approval, as long as all components are exactly as described in this approval. 3.2 This approval requires the manufacturer to do testing of all coils used to fabricate door panels under this Notic of Acceptance. A minimum of 2 specimens shall be cut from each coil and tensile tested according to ASTM E -8 by a Dadc County Approved Laboratory selected and paid by the manufacturer. Every 3 months, 4 times : year the manufacturer shall mail to this office a copy of the Test Reports with confirmation that the specimens were selected from coils at the manufacturer's production facilities. And a notarized statement from the manufacturer that only coils with yield strength of 39,000 PSI or more shall bc used to make door panels for Dadc County under this Notice of Acceptance. 4. INSTALLATION 4.1 The Sectional Door and its components shall bc constructed in strict compliance with the approved drawings. 4.2 The installation of this door does not require a Hurricane Protection System 5. LABELING 5.1 Each door shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and the following statement: "Miami -Dadc County Product Control Approved 6. I am requesting a building permit to make an existing front garage (another two car garage exists in the rear) into a study by removing the garage door and putting two matching awning type windows on a four foot stuccoed block wall. The two cement drive strips from the sidewalk to the residence will be removed and shrubbery will be planted in front of the finished stucco wall to make a more attractive overall appearance to a home that was very beautifully renovated in 1976 and 1977. On the west side there are presently two doors seperated by a window. The north door enters into a service bathroom (toilet and sink). The south door opens into an existing pantry. This entire opening will be removed and be re- places with a stuccoed block wall with glass block so there will be no entry into the study except through the living room and the kichen. A full bath will replace a non -used service bath and be accessible only from the study and the kitchen. The living room wall will be made into a full mirrored wall. As a thirty year resident, Past Pres. of the M.S. Chamber of Commerce, Past Pres. of the M.S. Property Owners Assn., Pres. of the M.S. Coop. Apts., Inc. and concerned citizen, I have had my architect design the renovation so that it cannot possibly be used as a rental unit but will be an attractive living area for my family.
